Poinsettia Ornament

    Poinsettias are one of my favorite flowers. I love how they brighten up the cold and grey Winter days. When I grew up there was only the red Poinsettias available and that is still my absolute favorite.  When I go through the stores you can find them in all sorts of variations.  Unfortunately I can not keep them alive for very long that's the reason I have a lot of artificially ones in my house. Or like in this case I just make my own.      

 

  I found some embroidery frames in my craft stash and since I'm not into embroidering anymore I kept on thinking about other uses for them. Glad I'm sort of a craft item hoarder! (LOL)   I like this idea of making my own ornaments.
