Decorated Easter Eggs

I love making my own holiday decorations. This always challenges me to think outside the box and use different objects and materials to come up with unique items for my house.  Today I played around with foam eggs which I had for quiet some time and some twine.  I love the natural look and just used some bright and cheery cardstock to punch out these adorable little flowers.  I added a little bling and ribbon and the result you can see in the following pictures.

I used the Leaf Punch and one of the flowers from the Bitty Blooms and created these three different looks.

On this one I just added a bow I made with the Whisper White Flax Ribbon. I think it goes well with the twine.

And of course I had to try this seasons all time favorite Unicorn.
I had a little issue with the eyes, but there is nothing some fake eyelashes can't fix.  Didn't it come out cute?

I didn't attach the eggs to the flowerpots, this was only for representation.  But there is a thought!
Happy crafting to all of you!

Peep Soap Bunny Gift Idea

I found these cute little Peep Soap Bunnies in a local store and they smelled like marshmallows and cupcakes.  I couldn't resist getting a few, even though I didn't know what I was going to do with them at that point. Well, I looked at them for a couple of days and here is what I came up with.

I used the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper for a background and the rest was very easy to fall in place. A couple little flowers, a little bit of grass, and what else do you need to have for the perfect Easter gift. What makes it even better, is that the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper is FREE with a $50 order (before shipping and taxes).

And there is much more to check out!

Have a crafty evening!

Best Bunny

It is February and a couple of days ago we got about four inches of snow, and there is suppose to be more coming. I'm not whining, but I don't need this anymore. I'm mentally prepared for Spring!! So what do you do on a snowy day, you start making spring decorations.

I saved some Mason Jar lids and they were perfect for this project. I love this Bunny!! Wouldn't this be a great idea for name plates on a Easter table. Instead of a spring banner just use their names.

And remember it's Sale-A-Bration time, for every $50 or $100 (before tax and shipping) you get to choose a free item.

Check it out right HERE!

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Country Floral Embossing

For today's project I had to dig out paper from the time when I wasn't a Stampin Up! demonstrator. Yup, I still have some of these
craft room dinosaurs. You never know when you need it, right?  Remember the white core paper, some of you might enjoy using it. Well, I hated it. Every time I scored or tried to tear a decorative edge, the white core showed up and ruined everything for me. I had to use a sponge to cover it, but it never turned out the way I wanted it to be. Well, today this paper was just perfect!!!

I embossed the paper as usual with the Country Floral Embossing Folder and the white core came peeking out. But it was not enough, so I used an emery board and sanded over the entire cardstock until I achieved the look I wanted. Doesn't it look pretty?

This gorgeous embossing folder is free with a $50 order (before taxes and shipping)! Just think about all the options you have.

Thanks so much for checking in!

Painted Season

I am so sorry for taking this unexpected break, but unfortunately I had some surgery done last week. I was kind of shocked because everything went so fast, but that might have been a good thing. That way I didn't have much time to think about it.

But onto something more pleasant.

During my absence from the stamping world, Stampin Up! released more Sale-A-Bration products. I will post a link down below. We demonstrators are very fortunate to pre-order all the new stuff and today I was able to play with all the new goodies.

I made this card with the Painted Seasons stamp set. I love the distinctive stamps from Stampin Up!  Don't they look almost real? The embossing folder is also a new Sale-A-Bration release and it's called Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. What a long name, but it sure looks awesome.

Tricorn Card

I wanted to check out a Youtube video about a sewing project I want to do next. That's when I discovered this "Tricorn Card" tutorial in the recommended projects. The name of it made it sound interesting so I started watching it and it is quiet a card. Of course I had to give it a try.  The interesting part about it is, that it stands either vertical or horizontal, so you can decide which way you want to go.

Since this card does not fit in a regular envelope I had to come up with a little box for it. Since the card is so pretty, I didn't want to hide it so I just created a clear top sliding box and added some ribbon for decoration.

Let me know what you think about my project.
Have a nice weekend!

Amazing Life

I have an amazing life with my husband, and when I started making a Valentine's Day card for him the Amazing Life stamp set was just the right one. The sentiment "So Happy To Have You In My Life" pretty much says it all.

I know I used Powder Pink cardstock for a masculine card, but like my husband always says "only real men can do pink", LOL!

Meant To Be

I had all this red ribbon left from Christmas and for the longest time I didn't know what to do with it. I have seen some ribbon roses online and thought why not give it a try. Needless to say I liked the outcome of the roses and decided to go into production with them.  Six hundred rose pedals later and my workspace total covered up with hot glue.

The roses started to shape up. I used an older flower petal punch for the green leaves underneath and some kebab sticks for the stems.

Here is the final product. I wrapped the bouquets in white tissue paper and tied them with white tulle. For the finishing touches I used the Meant To Be Bundle and die cut the hearts. And what would Valentine's Day be without candy, so I added a couple of lollipops into the bouquet.  Since I will be giving these roses to people I don't know very well, I wanted to stay neutral with the phrase.  I think the "Just For You" is perfect for the occasion.

So next time you want to donate your left over ribbon. Think about it, you never know what you can come up with.

Thanks for stopping by!
