It's Spring, Time For The Flower Seeds!

We had a few sunny days lately. I was out enjoying working in my yard and I was thinking I really have to plant a lot more flowers for next year.  It is so nice seeing the Tulips and Daffodils opening up.  All these fresh colors really puts you in such a good mood.

That's why for today I really wanted to bring out some color and added some flower seed packages.

I love the hybrid Tulips with more than just one color.  I wanted to try this and stamped the Tulip above in Real Red and then colored it in with Daffodil Delight alcohol blends. I really love how the yellow shows a little bit.  I think it gives the tulip a lot more depth.

I did the same here, but this time I used Melon Mambo to stamp the Tulip and filled it in with Petal Pink.

But then I got tired of just stamping tulips, so I had to bring in the Cute Little Ladybug. This set is perfect for a Spring celebration like Easter.

Which of the three is your favorite?
I would like to hear from you!

 Thanks for visiting my blog!

Easter Egg Popsicle Treats

I had so much fun making these cute Easter Egg Popsicle Treats. I could have went on and on creating different designs. There are so many possibilities, but I had to come to an end. I don't even know if I can give these out as gifts this year. They might just stay in my house to treat ourselves.

Right now my inventory in Easter candy is pretty limited. But I'm happy I have at least something at home to show you how it works.

These little creatures from the Welcome Easter stamp set are just perfect for this lovely treat.

I have used a lot of different dies but also created my own cuts, like the grass in the picture below.

I think this curios little sheep is my favorite, what do you think?

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

Easter Gnome

If you have been following my blog you know that I have kind of a gnome obsession. I have put them on cards, I made them out of fabric I even created them with socks. LOL. This is my first attempt making a 3d gnome with cardstock.  What can I say, I just love these cute little dudes. They bring some cheer and smiles in this dreadful time. I think everybody should make a few of these and just put them in front of their neighbors door, to bring a smile on their faces. We sure all can use it!

If you would like the instructions for this cute little gnome,
email me.

Fortunately Stampin'Up! has everything you need to create this cute little fella.

Non - Stampin'Up! items used is a regular hole punch (for the hands) and twine to hold the gnome together.

Place a $150 order (before shipping and tax) and you could get the Thoughtful Blooms and Small Bloom Punch for free! This offer is only available until March 31st, so better hurry up.

Spring Flowers

It is time to change the decorations in the house.  And while it was a little bit grey outside today I thought it would be time to bring out some color. I went on a walk through our neighborhood yesterday and came by some gorgeous clusters of mini Daffodils. While I was walking I kept on thinking about how I could get it done. Fortunately we have the Perennial Flower Punch which was just perfect for this project.

I love this little splash of color in my kitchen, it helps getting over the blues we are all going through at the moment.

Just in case you didn't know, you can order from all current catalogs to qualify for the Sale-A-Bration items, that includes everything in the Annual Catalog. There is only about a week left, so you might want to check if there is something you need to have and get some free product while you are at it.

Thank you for visiting!
Stay safe!

Triangle Aisle Card

I have seen a few of this style of card since the beginning of the year.  And of course, I had to try one. It looks very complicated but once you get started it is actually really easy to put it together. You might want to add some instructions on how to assemble it for a non-crafter or just hand carry it to the recipient.  :)

I used the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set and the coordinating Small Bloom Punch from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog. It is the cutest set.  Both of these can be yours with a $150 order (before shipping and tax). But remember celebration is almost over, just
1 1/2 weeks left to get your freebies.

Thanks for checking in! Have a great weekend!!

Chicken Treat Box

Having all my entire family working from home doesn't allow me to make a lot of noises, so I spend a lot of time surfing the internet. One of my finds was a very cute chicken box by "Stempelbunt" Birgit Seidler. This project reminded me about the plastic chicken you can buy for Easter which poops out eggs.  I changed mine a little bit by making it bigger since I wanted to fit more than just one chocolate egg and added a few more details to my chicken.

I used the gorgeous Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper, which is available for purchase right now.
If you are interested you can find it HERE.
It also works great with a lot of punches which are available in the 2020 Mini Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Catalog.

I used the biggest oval from the older Ovals Collection and folded it in half, for the chicken body. You can use any size, just make sure to size the box down. For the box I used a
4"x3" piece of complimenting cardstock (for mine I used Petal Pink) and score on all four sides at 1".
On the 4" side cut a slit at 1" and 3" to the first score line, and do the same on the other 4" side. Next glue the tabs on one end to start a box but don't glue the other end. This way you can fill and empty the box without ripping it apart.
Hope this helps!

Little Ladybug

I know it is pretty crazy out there and a lot of people are isolating themselves just in case. All the kiddos are home because schools are closed early and everybody is kind of what are we going to do?
Don't panic! There are a lot of things you can do together with your family, but my favorite is still crafting. No matter where you are, you can still get supplies online. You can click on the shopping card on the right, it will bring you straight to my Shop.

Why not catch up on making some cards or make a gift for a very helpful neighbor for being there.

I created this little package with some clear plastic pockets and added a paper sleeve to create an envelope.

I added four different cards for all kinds of occasions.

I decided to go with the Little Ladybug stamp set from the Sale-A-Brations Catalog, because it is the kind of cheer we all can use right now.

Sale-A-Bration is still going strong until the end of March and you can earn a lot of free items with qualifying orders.

Stampin' Up! has added more items to Sale-A-Bration if you would like to see them all click HERE.

Thanks for coming back to visit and please stay safe.

Mountain Air

When you live in a mountain region like us in Idaho you don't have to think twice about the Mountain Air stamp set. It's my Brother-in-law's birthday and of course I wanted to give him a handmade card. So what can be better than this mountain range framed by a few evergreens. And the Birch background supports this entire scene perfectly.

What do you think?

This stamp set is my absolute favorite.

Thoughfull Blooms Birthday Card

I can't believe it is March already. That also means Sale-A-Bration time is in its final steps. If you like the Thoughtful Blooms and the coordinating Small Bloom Punch don't wait to much longer. Sale-A-Bration items are selling out fast and believe me this is a set you don't want to miss out on.

For this card I used Old Olive to stamp the vines and Mango Melody to stamp the flowers. A nice addition to this birthday card was the Butterfly from the Butterfly Gala bundle.

Thanks for visiting!
