Happy May Day!

The first day in May is a big celebration in Germany. Everybody is out walking and barbequing, celebrating Spring. We also made little gifts, usually some candy or flowers and put them in front of the door. I'm not living in Germany anymore but I do keep up with German customs. So for this years May 1st celebrations I made this little flower pots and handed them out to my neighbors.

Greenhouse

Hello Stampers,

Another low maintenance project for those of you who do not want to have to water their plants. Another benefit, it won't attract any bugs.

It took a little adjusting but I actually started out with the Home Sweet Home Framelits. From there it was a lot of working out the measurements of the window sheets and the trim.

But the final project was definitely worth it.

Mother's Day

I had to get busy with at least one Mother's Day card, this one takes a little longer to get shipped. I hope my Mom in Germany will love this card. She doesn't speak English but I'm pretty sure she will understand this card and feels how much we love her.

This was one of my first attempt on a fancy fold card, and they look a little scary at first but once you make one it's actually really easy.  I might try a few different ones.

 Hope you enjoyed todays project.

Have a nice weekend!

No Fuss Flowers

I love flowers and when I saw the Oh So Succulent Bundle in the 2017 Occasions Catalog I instantly knew I had to have it. I still can't believe it didn't make it into the new 2017-2018 Stampin'Up Catalog.

I started out with the biggest dies from the Succulent Framelit set and made the flowers. I love that whatever you do, none of the flowers look the same.

The Spider plant was something I came up with, by fuzzy cutting and painting on every single leave. I ran the leaves through the crimper tool to give it a more natural look.

I love the fresh look of this color combination of Copper Foil sheets and Flirty Flamingo cardstock.

Topped it off with the smallest flower from the Botanical Builder Framelits and the largest Dragonfly from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits dies.

For an OOH effect I added a small LED light chain. I love this look, it will look so good on my window sill.

Happy Easter

I quiet don't remember what inspired me, but I was sitting in my craft room and all of a sudden I thought about how complicated it would be to create a 3-d Easter Bunny. I had the head already done, which was not my idea it came from a team member. So I just started adding on to it. I had a lot of fun making this fun Easter Bunny.

Wouldn't this a cute little gift for somebody, filled with all sorts of candy. Unfortunately a couple of items are on the retired list,so if you would like to make one of these darling Bunnies click on the icons down below to order.

The wide yellow ribbon used for the skirt is not a Stampin'Up product.

Beauty and the Beast

I have not seen the new Beauty and the Beast Movie yet, but I remember when my Daughter was little I have watched the animated version over and over again. It was her favorite movie of all times. I wanted to create the famous Rose from the movie and when I saw the Succulent Framelits Dies I knew I can make it happen.

I used the Window Box as a Pedestal which makes the look
perfect.

The window sheet I scored in the same dimensions as the window box to give a nice and snug fit. How about putting some Beauty and the Beast movie tickets in the base as a surprise gift. I just might do that and give it to my daughter.

Additional items used to finish the Rose is Florist Wire for the stem and Florist tape to wrap to attach the pedals.
