Checking In With Over The Moon

I have to admit, it took me a while until I ordered this adorable stamp set. I was hesitant because it wasn't my style. I was trying to decide when would I use a stamp set like that. It turned out I thought about it the wrong way. As a matter of fact right now is the perfect time for it! Whether you want to check in on some colleagues, teachers, or school mates this is the perfect way. Why not distribute some smiles! A smile we're all in desperate need for right now!

I know who I'm making smile tonight, who do you want to make smile?

So next time you look through a catalog, look at it differently and think outside the box!

This stamp set can be used for so many other reasons to check in, not only in times of a pandemic. Think about the college student which is in the middle of finals, or the expecting mom in your life.  I can think of tons of reasons for this stamp set to be part of your collection.

Unfortunately the Over The Moon stamp set is on the retiring list and will be only available while supplies last.  So don't wait to long, you can order it right HERE!

Thank you for stopping by!

What better way to show you two items which are on the retirement list. The Lined Alphabet Bundle showing off the 2018-2020 In-Colors. Both items will be retiring by end of May. But don't wait to long these items are selling out fast.

I have seen so many fun projects with Lined Alphabet Bundle. You can even make an entire album with them. It's worth trying!

Chinese Lantern Meets Ornate Border Dies

I'm so desperate for some warmer temperatures so I can finally be able to sit on my porch and enjoy my backyard!  Well, the weatherman promised us some sunshine for next week. That gives me plenty of time to make some decorations to add some color into my yard. Starting with a Chinese Lantern which I created with one of the 2018-2019 In-Colors called Lovely Lipstick. I'm really sad seeing these colors go away, but there will be new ones coming.

This is nothing I would leave out for good. But think about an outdoor wedding or birthday celebration. We all want to put a personal touch to our celebrations. I think this lantern would be a nice addition to any festivity!

Have a nice weekend!

Ornate Style

For today's project I tried to blend two different color schemes together. I kept the background  black and white but wanted to have the middle pop out with a lot of color. The large flower bouquet stamp from the Ornate Style stamp set worked just beautifully for it.

I love the contrast of the black and white background and the multi color in the middle. It gives it so much depth.

If you would like to take a look at the entire suite you can do it right HERE.

Almost Time To Say Goodbye!

We are getting really excited! It is almost time for a new annual Stampin'Up! catalog!
But a new catalog also means we have to say goodbye to some of our favorite items. One thing we can be certain off is the 2018-2020 In-Colors will be retiring.

I really liked the brightness of these colors. We all have our favorite and less favorite colors. But if you asked me which one my favorite would be, I couldn't tell you. I love them all!!!

Here are some closeups of the cards. This one is the Lovely Lipstick.

This one is Call Me Clover.

The next one Grapefruit Grove.

Look at this bright Blueberry Bushel.

And finally the beautiful Pineapple Punch.

If you love the 2018-2020 In-Colors then don't wait to long to order all the backup supplies. The closer it gets to retirement date the faster they will sell out.

You can find all the items related to the 2018-2020 In-Color family right HERE.

Ornate Garden Suite Exclusive Early Release!

The Ornate Garden Suite is an exclusive early release from the upcoming 2020-2021 annual catalog. Order now until May 31st and you can have a lot of fun with it like I do. I love all the different framelits which are coming with the bundles and the matching stamps are very beautiful too.  Below is my first attempt with these bundles.

I love the colors of this card, it is so cheery and uplifting.

You will have several options to order.
The first one is "I Want it all". That would be the entire Ornate Garden Suite. That gives you both bundles, Designer Series Paper, Embossing Folder, Ribbon and Sequins.

The next option is" I Want Some". Now you can decide if you want the Ornate Style Bundle or the Ornate Thanks Bundles. In both cases you will get a stamp set and the matching dies.

And finally "I Want A Little", you can order every item individual and pace yourself as you go.

But always remember you save if you bundle and the bigger the bundle the more you save!

Thanks for visiting!

Easter Table Treats

Do you like to decorate your table for the Holidays? Easter is coming up and I think these cute little bunnies will put a smile on everybody's faces. I will put mine on the plates with a fancy napkin wraped like a nest around them.

First I started out with the traditional brown for the bunny. But then I thought why not put some color on the table. It's spring after all!

I hope you all have a nice Easter holiday!

Scenic Panorama Card

I ran by a video from a Co-Demonstrator from Germany (Stempeldichbunt.de) of a scenic panoramic card which included the By The Dock Bundle and it was just gorgeous. I really had to give it a try.  I just ordered this Bundle because I love scenic cards and it goes so well with a lot more stamp sets from Stampin up.
Here is my version of it.

I live in Idaho so I had to add some mountains and of course Evergreens!

This card is huge, it measures open about 16". But it's split in five sections, so it will still fit in a A2 envelope.

This project was a family collaboration, everybody in my family gave me some ideas to make it work.  Since I was working with photo polymer and rubber stamps it was not easy to get the perfect stamped images. What made it even more complicated that I wanted a continues scene. I can say I had a few tries and fails along the way.

And I was almost done when the Best Catch stamp set came to mind. I think this fly fisher just completes the entire scene. A perfect serene moment!

I could have went on with a few more stamps and dies, but I already had about four different stamp sets included. There are even a few more stamps which could have been used. I will leave that exploring up to you.
Thanks to stempeldichbunt.de for the inspiration!

Bee Hive

Do you miss going to your favorite stores to check out all the fun new Spring and Summer items? I have to admit, once in a while I get this urge but then I go to my craft room and start creating. I'm very happy that Stampin'Up! is totally caught up with the newest trends. I keep on seeing tons of these bee hives popping up. These must be the hot new thing this year. And the Honey Bee Bundle featured in the 2020 Mini Catalog is right on trend.

I came up with my own bee hive design. Gladly I had some rope at home and improvised the shape I had seen other people use. Mostly, people use plastic flower pots but in this a leftover coffee creamer container had to do.

Easter Basket

I really was procrastinating Easter this year. I have decorations in my house but no Easter candy! I always try to find something small for our daughter, even if she is an adult. It is kind of fun! Well, my next grocery pick up is not until this Sunday, so some artificial eggs will have to do for this picture. But at least I was able to make a Easter basket for her.

I finally received the Ornate Garden Suite, and the dies from the set are just amazing. I used one of them on the edge of the basket and sponged it in Calypso Coral and Old Olive. The flowers in the background are the Friendly Silhouettes dies, which I trimmed down to fit. And of course the super cute bunny from the Welcome Easter stamp set.

Flower Bouquet and Ornate Garden Suite Early Release

I like decorating my house with homemade items. Since my
family has been working from home for a couple of weeks, I thought they deserve something nice.  So I decided to bring some color into their offices. What could be better than some colorful flowers.

This is a fun project and is done very easily. I love the simplicity of it, but can easily be dressed up with several different items. It depends on the look you would like to achieve.

I also would like to introduce you to the Ornate Garden Suite Early Release. Watch the video below for more information.

This beautiful Suite will be part of the upcoming annual catalog, but you can own it right know. Starting today until May 31 you will be able to order it HERE

  Thanks for stopping by!
