New On My Desk!

Today I would like to feature the Garden Shed stamp set. Just because I feel like this stamp set is not getting the attention it actually deserves. This set is calling out to all coloring fans out there! It is so much fun playing with all colors and slowly seeing it come to life.  Play with different colors for different seasons, the options are endless.

Stampin'Up! should have called this stamp set Zen Garden, because coloring has a very therapeutic result. I could do it for hours!

What about you? Do you like to color?

Here are all the ingredients I used to create my project.

Thanks for letting me share my creativity with you!

New On My Desk!

Today's post is not stamping related but it is crafty. Besides paper crafting, I also enjoy sewing and embroidering. I have a few of these tiered shelves but I usually don't show things like this.  But I'm particularly fond of this one since I pretty much made most of the items by myself.  Well with a little help of my beloved hubby and a trustful embroidery machine.

I had to take pictures from both sides,  it is hard to cover all sides on these trays at once.

Isn't this little Gnome tea light holder the cutest thing?
It says Nuts For Fall in the front

And look at this adorable little rolling pin!

Here is where my Hubby came in. I told him I wanted something in wood which looks like a book. And he delivered! I'm so happy he understands me so well.

A little cushy pillow, perfect for Fall!

And of course a Maple Leaf. I even found a Maple Leaf shaped eyelet in my older stash. I'm so happy I keep all my vintage craft items. LOL!

This can be addicting, there will be definitely more in my future!

Also, don't forget the Sale that is still going on today until 11:59 pm!

New On My Desk!

In the years I have been with Stampin'Up!, they have released a few wreath stamps and dies and they were all beautiful! But with the Arrange A Wreath they have outdone themselves. I'm in love with this bundle!
I will have tons of fun with it!

This bundle has pretty much any season of the year and any occasion covered. If you are living on a budget or you are a beginning stamper, this is the bundle to get. Look at the picture below, what is there not to love.

New On My Desk!

This idea is in my mind for quiet some time and the Letter Board was sitting around in my house for about the same time. Somehow I would like to decorate this board for every season. So for my first one of course I had to choose Fall.  Mums are one of my favorite Fall flower besides Sunflowers but I have shown you a lot of Sunflowers by now.  So Mums it is!

I also wanted to show you that you can do a lot more with one punch. I used the two Daisy punches, which you can find in the annual catalog, and just shaped them so they started looking like a mum. Paper is so patient when it becomes to shaping it.  I used five large daisies and three medium sized ones.

And here is a closeup off the flowers.

They are so beautiful!

Makes me want to go out in my garden and bring some in.

Enjoy your weekend!

New On My Desk!

Today I was playing around with different techniques and colors. I really didn't have a plan and I had no idea where this was going. I just kept on adding colors and after I was done with the coloring I thought why not add a different sentiment in every leaf. Well below is the final project!

I used the smaller maple leaf from the Gather Together Bundle and cut a stencil which I then sponged in several different colors. Most of the sentiments are from the same bundle. Just make sure not to  use anything bigger than the leaf. I sponged Old Olive around the entire card and for the final touches I used the Woodland embossing folder to give it more depth.
I think it's not bad for just playing around. I can see this sponging technique being used for more occasions.

New On My Desk!

I know you can buy something similar in stores right now. But what's the fun in that? I'd rather do it myself and have a little creative fun! It is way more rewarding to say I made this!

And if you know me, I have to try several ways to decorate. It is kind of hard when you have all these Stampin'Up! goodies at home to make only one.  For this one I choose to have the main focus on the beautiful daisies!

And for this one, I choose the Forever Fern dies to create a beautiful background for a single daisy.

I think these two will look lovely on my hearth!

Which one do you like better?

New On My Desk!

A friend of mine took advantage of the Get & Go Starter Kit Promotion which is going on during the month of September. I was so excited for her and couldn't wait to see all the goodies she got. And I also wanted to share it with you, so here we go!  In addition to the regular starter kit (for $99, new recruits choose $125 worth of products) you will also receive enough cardstock pieces to make 16 cards, a pack of Rhinestone Basic Jewels, the So Much Love stamp set, and the Queen Anne's Lace stamp set.

Since she received the stamps and the paper with the starter kit, she decided against more product and went for the brand new Stampin'Cut and Emboss Machine which was just released not to long ago. This is a $120 value which she got for $99! Isn't that a deal!

Doesn't this machine look sleek and elegant? It is light weight, and the platform folds for easier transportation and easier to store.

All plates needed to get started are included. And look closer they are numbered, so no more confusion about how to layer a sandwich.

And while I was visiting we were able to create a fun and fast card with the Queen Anne's Lace stamp set.

But don't wait to long, this offer is only good until end of September.

New On My Desk!

Do you feel like you need to get out sometimes? I sure do because I'm close to getting cabin fever! Wouldn't it be nice to sit on a beach and watch a sunset like this? For now that's only a dream. So instead of going there we just create our own. I think it feels good just getting creative and watching this card come to life!

The Sending Sunshine stamp set makes it really easy to create scenes like this. I just used a sponge and shaded the areas around the stamped images. For the background I used the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder and shaded it with Cinnamon Cider and Soft Suede to make it look like a wall. For the frame I layered two of the Stitched Rectangles and embossed the frame with Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.

Doesn't this look like you are sitting in a beach house looking out onto the ocean?

I also wanted to let you know that the Clearance Rack has been restocked! It is sure worth it checking it out! You can find it right HERE

Thanks for stopping by!
