Snowflake Showcase Countdown - Only a few hours left

The countdown is on, and there is literally only a few hours left.  It is very sad, but after tonight the limited edition Snowflake Showcase will no longer be available. This set is not only good for the snowy season, it can be used for so much more. So if you haven't got it yet you might want to consider ordering it.

This is one of the projects I made with the Snow Is Glistening and the Snowfall Thinlits Dies. It is a fast and easy card, great for any beginner. Look at the size of the large snowflake and how detailed they all are. I am really going to miss this set.

Merry Christmas Thinlits

We are in the busiest time of the year and greeting cards are not necessarily your number one chore right now. You need a Christmas card which is not overly complicated and easy to get done in an assembly line. What makes it even more fun the entire Family can help. Aren't we always searching for that perfect Family get together and entertainment.

This card is very easy and fast to assemble. You just need a card base, I choose white because it pretty much goes with everything. Than I cut two layers, each slightly smaller than the one before and for my focal point I traced a star shaped template onto my silver paper and cut it out. Now if you have little kids and they might not be perfect with cutting skills, it's a handmade card and everybody in your family or your friends will love this personal touch. To add a little bit more to complete the card I used the Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies, but you could put a bow in the middle or maybe some other embellishments. How easy is that! Plus it's a made with love!!

Peaceful Poinsettia

Hello everybody I'm back! I took a little break from my craft room and we went to visit our Daughter over Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time, but like always the visit was way to short. Now I'm back in my work shop and believe me you don't want to peak, it's a disaster. I'm working on so many different projects at the same time it's getting insane. But I have to admit I have an organized mess. LOL!

For todays project I would like to introduce you to the Peaceful Poinsettia stamp set. Poinsettia's are my favorite flower for this season.  I love the bright colors which makes everything so cheery.

What is your favorite flower of the season?

Thanks for stopping by.

Making Christmas Bright

I always hear people say, I'm not artistic enough to stamp. The truth is we all have the artistic ability within us. All you need is inspiration and the right tools. Stampin up also helps with that by providing suggested color combinations to help you create the look you want to achieve.

The project above was mainly created with tools from Stampin Up, only a little stamping was required. Below you can find the list of materials I used to create this easy and fun project.

 Have an awesome weekend!

Pop Of Petals Christmas Wreath

By now you can find a wreath for all kinds of occasions, but the most important one for me is still the one for Christmas. I love the smell of fresh pine branches tied into a wreath. In Germany we have the tradition of the Advents Wreath, which has four candles and gets decorated in all different ways. We light the first candle on the fourth Sunday before Christmas Eve. As a child I got always super excited when we started lighting the candles, that meant Christmas is not that far out anymore.

For todays project I broke the tradition, and made a contemporary wreath. For the flowers I used the Pop of Petal stamp set, which is actually not a holiday set. But stamped in the right colors and add a little silver, it sure looks festive.

Alpine Adventure

It's time to get those Holiday stamps out and keep on making beautiful, handmade Christmas cards. Don't you hate to get a store bought card in the mail. There is nothing better than a handmade card, and it doesn't have to be a real fancy one, it's the personal touch that counts.

This one is a very easy and fast card. What goes better for the Holidays then plaid and evergreen branches. Add some snowshoes to it, and it makes a perfect picture.

Thanks for checking in!

Merry Christmas

I have to apologize for not posting on my blog for a couple of days, but I had a good reason. My husband and I went to the Pinners Conference in Salt Lake City, and what an experience that was. I had so much fun making all the make and takes and joining some of the classes they offered. The best part was that I got a lot of inspiration. During this visit I saw tons of different signs, made with chalk, vinyl or paint. That gave me the idea for the project below.

So this is my version of the Pinterest sign idea, and I have to admit I love it. Just think about gifts and personalizing it.

Below you can see the items I used to create this project.
