Easter Bunny Chocolate Wrap

You all know that I also love to sew and embroider so today's project was inspired by an embroidery file I purchased. While I was sitting in front of my machine watching for my project to be done, I was going in my head through all my punches which I could use to get this done in paper.

Sometime it really pays off to keep some of the retired punches. Especially if you like punch art like I do.

If you need a couple of fast and easy Easter treats, this is the project for you. No measuring required. I just wrapped a piece of cardstock around the Hershey bar for length and added the ears before I adhered the wrap together. Then added the whiskers, nose, eyes and if you want you can add a bow.

I just love how this bunny turned out!

Easter Wreath

I'm really loving this Springtime Joy stamp set. You can come up with so many different Spring/Easter projects. Just include another stamp set or bundle so you can stretch the ideas even further. For my project today I included the Arrange A Wreath Bundle and the Pinwood Planks 3D  Embossing Folder.

This time I just used the head of the Lamb and have it peeking through the wreath. I thought this is a really cute look for an Easter card.

Below are all the ingredients used for this project.

Have a great weekend!

Retiring In-Colors with Brushed Blooms Bundle

I don't remember if I told you the good news yet, the new annual catalog will be released soon.  Stampin'Up! has changed the annual catalog release to May 4th. Unfortunately that also means that we have to say goodbye to some of our in-colors.

So for today I used all the retiring in-colors which are Rococo Rose, Terracotta Tile, Pretty Peacock, Seaside Spray and Purple Posy. I thought it would we a great idea to team them up with the Brushed Blooms Bundle. I cut out the background strips with each color and stayed neutral with the roses. This way the focus stays on the in-colors.

Below you can see all five colors. Due to some issues, Purple Posy is the only color which was never available in a Stamp Pad or Ink Refill.

But hurry, supplies are going fast. If you love any of these colors then you might want to stock up!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Free Shipping!

St. Patrick's day is today and I thought why not sent a little fortune to somebody. This was an easy and fast project. I used the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder for my background and the sentiment is from the Game On stamp set. Add some chocolate coins to it and send the fortune to some lucky recipient.

But we all can feel a little lucky today, because Stampin'Up! is offering free shipping for today only. Place a $50 or more order on my online shop and you will not be charged shipping. But hurry this offer ends tonight at 11:59 pm.

Hope today is your lucky day!

Leprechaun Box

A couple more days until St. Patrick's Day. So I came up with this last minute little treat box to celebrate this holiday.  Because no matter how you celebrate, a fun treat is always a nice surprise.

I love exploring with punch art, it is so much fun to push yourself and see what you can actually create with all the dies and punches. For this fun project I used mainly the oval dies, circle punches, a heart punch and the balloon punch.

I used the largest oval for the face and the hat. For the hat I cut the oval in half and out of the other half I fuzzy cut the brim. For the Eyes and Nose I had to dig dip into my retired circle punches, so I have to apologize for that. For the Pipe I cut a little strip of paper and mad a little slit in his mouth to insert it. The Pipe head is the smallest balloon which I cut the top off.

Below you find all the ingredients to create one yourself.

I had so much fun making this Leprechaun I might have to come up with some other ideas.
Like I always say, think outside the box!

Stay creative!

Easter Lamb Card

We in Idaho are looking forward to some warmer temperatures. The weatherman promised us shorts and flip flop weather, I'm so looking forward to this. That's the reason I chose bright and cheery colors for today's project.  I haven't used these colors in a while, so it was nice to dig them out. This is another image from the super cute Springtime Joy stamp set.  I can't get enough of these cute little critters.

Look at this face, isn't it adorable. You got to check this stamp set out, you will love it.

I used the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder for my background because these little flowers are perfect for what I had in mind. I stamped the little flower in So Saffron on the same color card stock to add some depth to it.

Below you find all the ingredients I used to create my card for today.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Easter Egg

My mind is completely set on getting my Easter treats and cards done. Today I finished up this cute little Easter egg. If you follow my blog you have seen the basket I made. I used the same measurements and made two of them and then hinged them together with some cardstock.  The Springtime Joy stamp set was my choice to decorate the front. I love all the little critters in this stamp set. Isn't that Bunny adorable!

In the picture below you see the inside of the egg. I filled it with my daughters favorite Easter candy which are Jelly Eggs. I'm pretty sure she will love it!

I added a couple of magnets to the back of the Bunny and the front of the top half so they egg stays in place.

If you missed my post with the basket, here is the link to the original post where I got the inspiration and measurements from.

Spring Chicken

Easter is approaching fast. So no time like now to get started on your Easter projects. I decided to use my Mini Curvy Keepsake Box and make some cute little chicks. This size is perfect to hold little treats and hide them around the house or if the weather allows it outside.

These little chickees don't need a whole lot. You would need the Mini Curvy Keepsake Box, a Heart Punch or die, and some small circle for the eyes. I got the sentiment and the cute little flower from the Springtime Joy stamp set.

This would also be a great addition for your Easter table.

Hope you enjoyed today's project.

No Spring Chicken Anymore!

The month of March is a busy birthday month for me.  Lot's of birthdays and the change of seasons keeps me hoping in my workshop.

We  have a birthday coming up in the family and it is always fun to play around a little bit with wording.  It is amazing how changing one word can effect the sentiment

My husband and his brother are a year apart and each year they trade jabs at each other.

This card will be perfect for him. Can't wait to see what he got planed for my husband.

I love the Hey Chick and the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set and having the coordinating dies makes it so much easier.

Thanks for stopping by!
