It is Snowman Season!

I don't know how it looks and feels in your part of the world, but here in Idaho it's starting to look a lot like Winter. We had our first snow which is a little too early for my taste. I would really like to enjoy a little more of this beautiful Fall weather.

But it's never to early to start on your Christmas cards. And how can you resist this cute little snowman?

 Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Holidays

Today's project wasn't even planned and has a bit of a funny story. One of my team members posted a picture of a box she purchased at a local store and just asked for some inspiration on what to do with it. That's when another team member mentioned said "Sabine, work your magic!" Well, I'm always up to a good challenge, but what I didn't know was that my store didn't carry any of these boxes. So, my wonderful husband just made one for me.

And here is the final project.

I had this snowman in mind since the Mini Curvy Keepsake Box was available and I'm so happy I kept the larger version of it.

This will be a cute little addition to my Christmas decoration this year.

Have a relaxing weekend!

Eat If Your Dare!

My craft room is kind of in transition between Halloween/Fall and Christmas.  Hard to decide what to work on first. I guess since Halloween is really close I better get started on some of the gifts for my husbands colleagues.

This time I came up with my own version with the September Paper Pumpkin. I love this jolly skeleton and the sentiments which also came with it.

You have never tried Paper Pumpkin! Well, this is the perfect idea for somebody which wants to craft a little but doesn't want to invest heavily into it. It's a monthly subscription which you can cancel anytime, and it comes with everything needed to complete a project. If you would like to see more about this one-stop box for creativity go to www.paperpumpkin.com.

Winter Wonderland!

Hello everybody! Today I would like to show you my little Winter Wonderland! These two stamp sets are made for each other! And I really love mixing the silver with the copper paper.

I used half of plastic ornament and glued it to a candle holder. Filled the bottom of the ornament with cotton balls and then it's all about building your little village with the Snow Globe Scenes Dies.  After I was done, I sprinkled a little silver glitter over it and finished my project off by framing it with the Beautiful Boughs Dies.

Now I'm really getting into this Holiday Spirit!

Have a great weekend!

Mr. & Mrs. Scarecrow

I might have had a little too much time on my hands this week, but I had this project in mind and I wanted to get one done. I'm sure you've all experienced starting one project and getting new ideas while you are working until that project turns into something much bigger. Well, that's how this one started out. It was supposed to be one scarecrow, but he looked very lonely so I had to come up with a Misses to join him.

And I didn't wanted to gift them just like that, so I stuffed them with a little candy.

I used some of the Come To Gather Designer Series Paper to create the clothing, and embellished with the Gathered Leaves Dies and for the Misses I used the Daisy Lane Punch.

I hope you enjoyed my little scarecrow family!

Thanks for stopping by!

Peaceful Boughs

Checked the countdown today, and it's only 72 more days until Christmas. That isn't very long at all, so it's time to start preparing! I'm usually a procrastinator when it becomes to making little gifts; I guess I just work better under pressure, LOL. So this year I'm starting early with my gifts like this cute sign. I don't quite know yet who I will gift it too, but I'm pretty sure I will have no problems finding somebody.

Are you already preparing for the Holidays? What kind of art projects do you have going?

Thanks for stopping by!

Cup of Christmas

The air is getting crisp outside and the leaves are changing colors. With summer adventures coming to a close, there is nothing better than sharing a cup of hot coffee or tea with a friend. But with the colder weather also comes flu season and nobody's got time for that. So to prevent sharing any germs that could stop you from enjoying this fall season I added a mini hand sanitizer in these cute little mug boxes.

The Everything Is Rosy Product Medley is back and available to purchase for 15% off—but only while supplies last.

My Other Passion!

I have to apologize for making myself scarce last week, but I have a really good excuse. I have to admit paper crafting is not my only passion, a few years ago a good friend of mine introduced me into the art of sewing and I got hooked.  My husband got me this awesome sewing/embroidering machine which was quiet intimidating to me and I didn't used the embroidery part that much at all.  So last week I decided to change this and signed up for an extensive embroidery class, and did I learn a lot.

The sewing machine in the picture below is even more intimidating then the one I own, but it was a lot of fun working with it.

The pictures below show all the projects we got to make. I was not worried about the color or shapes, I was just there to learn. And I learned a lot!

What is your crafting passion?
