Poinsettia Ornament

    Poinsettias are one of my favorite flowers. I love how they brighten up the cold and grey Winter days. When I grew up there was only the red Poinsettias available and that is still my absolute favorite.  When I go through the stores you can find them in all sorts of variations.  Unfortunately I can not keep them alive for very long that's the reason I have a lot of artificially ones in my house. Or like in this case I just make my own.      

 

  I found some embroidery frames in my craft stash and since I'm not into embroidering anymore I kept on thinking about other uses for them. Glad I'm sort of a craft item hoarder! (LOL)   I like this idea of making my own ornaments.    

Snowglobe

  Hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing Thanksgiving, and got energized for the next big holiday coming up. My workshop must look just like Santa's by now, a lot of different projects in progress.  I'm happy my snow globe got done, just in time for my daughter to take it back with her to college.       I love these little dudes from the Snowmen Days Bundle. I made little easels so they are standing up in the globe and wave to my daughter for me every day!

Candle decorated for the Holidays and an amazing sale!

    It's time to get the house festive and decorated for the Holidays. It is more fun to create some of the pieces by yourself. I love the LED candles, because I don't have to worry about leaving the house and thinking about a burning candle. Unfortunately none of them come decorated the way I like, so why not make your own. Just think about the possibilities, and you could even personalize them.    

    It is a lot of fun and it looks more complicated than it actually is. Just give it a try, you will love it.

Poinsettia Burst

  This year I feel like a procrastinator when it comes to the Holidays. I must be the warm temperature we are experiencing which are throwing me completely off. I really have to get my game going and start on these Christmas cards. Well at least I got one design going.      

    I love the Poinsettias, but for this one I didn't use the traditional color red, instead I went with black on white with gold accents. I love how these colors work together.

Mini Nutella Treats

    I have seen these cute little Nutella boxes all over the internet and got frustrated because I couldn't find the mini Nutellas anywhere.  Then one day I went onto Amazon and there they were. I was in heaven!    

    I figured since Nutella is a Hazelnut spread it's more than perfect for the Fall season. That's why I dressed the box with our Hello Fall Bundle and used the Fall Fest Prints, added a little spoon to eat the Nutella right out of the Jar. My Mom wouldn't like that very much. LOL  Didn't they turn out cute!   Thanks for checking out my blog!  

Turkey Day

    These cute little turkeys are my gifts to my customers when they attend a class in November. I found some pumpkin flavored candy which I stuck in between the feathers.  But I can also see them on a festive decorated Thanksgiving table to put name tags in them.

Holiday Bazaar Handouts

      I'm attending my first holiday bazaar and wanted to make it special by giving out a small handout. Thankfully I ran into these cute little nail files which actually worked. I made a sleeve which fit snug around them and finished the package off with color coordinated ribbon. It was big enough to fit a small label with all my contact information on the back, so people will remember me.
