Getting Into Paper Crafting

Today I would like to reach out to all the Beginner Stampers. I know it can be overwhelming when you flip through the catalog and see all the beautiful creations. Starting a wish list and feeling your blood pressure increase when you see the total is something we've all experienced! Fear not! You don't have to jump right into with both feet because Stampin'Up! makes it quiet easy for everybody to start out. They offer a variety of Card Kits and have a monthly subscription called Paper Pumpkin which provides everything you need to get started on a project. I will talk about that in my next post. It can't get any easier than that.

Below I will show you a couple of card kits and as you can see everything is provided to start your creativity.

This one is called Looking Up Card Kit

This one is the Magnolia Blooms Card Kit

These are just a couple of ideas for you. If I sparked some interest you can find all of the card kits right HERE

So don't be nervous about starting a new hobby, it doesn't have to cost an arm or an leg!

Fancy Chocolate Bar Treat

This is one of the projects we made during my last workshop. It is a little box/card filled with a chocolate bar. I don't like to go empty handed when I'm invited or if I just meet up with a good friend.
It might be only a chocolate bar, but it's all about how you wrap it up!

This is a very easy project which is not too complicated to put together. The decoration of the box is much more time consuming, but so worth it at the end.

My customer all loved this project and they all agreed they might have to gift it to themselves.

I'm off to another concert, this time it is Jason Aldean! Can't wait for the party to start!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Seasonal Frame

I had this project in mind for quiet some time now, but never got around to doing it. I found this inexpensive frame at a local craft store and like so many other things I bought one. You never know when you have this one idea, right.

Well, today I had this idea of a seasonal changing project.  The wood is actually much lighter, but I thought I gave it a little aged look by sponging Soft Suede Ink on the entire frame. I think it worked well. The major plan was to make this frame interchangeable, so when the season changes I only have to switch out the decorations. So I added a few magnetic strips onto the frame and on the flowers and here we go.

Below is the picture where I placed the magnets.

This was a lot of fun to create!
Now I have to make a plan how I decorate it for every season.

I also would like to remind you about the Bonus Days which are only good for a few more days. For every $50 you spend (before tax and shipping) you will receive $5 which you will be able to use during the month of August.

Let me know what you think of today's project.

Petal Pink

The Good Morning Magnolia Bundle has not made it on the shelf with all my other stamps sets since I received it. I haven't had so much fun with any other stamp set I've ever owned before. I've had and still have favorites but never used them as many times as I use this bundle. I'm even planning an entire workshop around it and its matching Designer Series Paper. I hope my customers will love it as much as I do, but what is there not to love, right?

For today's card I stayed in the color palette recommended by Stampin'Up! on the backside of the Designer Series Paper. If you didn't know about this, go check it out. You can find it on all the Designers Series Paper and it is absolutely a lifesaver.
Below I listed all the items I used to create my project. I  hope you enjoyed it!
Thank you for checking in!

Daisy Lane Bouquet

If you've been following me for a little while now, you know that I love making 3d projects. Specifically, I like to make flowers that I can use for decorations in my house.  It's no different with the Daisy Lane Bundle. You might ask why did Stampin'Up! release another daisy stamp set and punch since they had one in the last catalog? These two stamp sets give you the versatility of having two different sizes of daisies, making it easy to create natural looking flowers. Look at that little bouquet below and tell me that these two stamp sets weren't made for each other!

Thanks for checking in!
I'm off to enjoy some good country music with Blake Shelton and Garth Brooks. And let's not forget my Husband!

 Have a terrific weekend!

Pressed Petals

Usually I don't use as much Washi Tape as I should. Believe it or not, I actually skipped over these items a few times in the catalog.  I started seeing these beautiful flowers all over the internet and I didn't know of a stamp or a punch which looked anything like this mysterious flower. Then finally after a deep breath and studying every detail in the catalog I finally discovered that this flower is actually made out of Washi Tape! Yup, believe it or not. It is not a straight piece of tape like we are used to, no these are individual petals. And I'm totally in love with this Washi Tape!

I can't believe how many times I was looking for it. It has definitely taught me a lesson to check out the section with the Washi Tape.   LOL!

Does that happen to you?  You try to locate something and it is right in front of your eyes?  I would like to hear your stories?

Thanks a lot for checking in!

My Everlasting Magnolia Tree

I have this beautiful Magnolia Tree right in front of my house. Every Summer I can't wait for it to start blooming, but unfortunately once Summer does arrive the beautiful flowers fall away and whats left is the foliage. I really miss these beautiful large flowers.

So when I saw the Magnolia Bundle in the new catalog I had the idea of creating my own blooming Magnolia tree for inside the house. What I came up with you can see down below.

This way I can enjoy the Magnolia flowers all year long!

The tree stump, or in this case more a branch is a involuntarily act of my Hazelnut bush in my front yard. I hope it can forgive me. LOL

Lifting Your Spirits

We've all struggled at one point in our lives. Overcoming a hurdle or taking that risk. For me starting my own business was something that I struggled with. It took a lot of time and effort to get it off the ground and I'm proud of the work I have done even though there is lots more to do. I'm sure I have a lot of Stampin'Up! Demonstrator Friends which can write a story about their own struggles, but we all keep on going and posting. Using this card you can show your support and love for those in your life that are struggling to overcome that hurdle in their own lives.

When I started this card I was actually planing on coloring the entire sentiment, but after I saw the simplicity of the yellow sun I thought about how sometimes it's the simple things in life that keep us going and to remember that there is always a light at the end of even the darkest tunnels.

The sentiment is part of the Believe You Can stamp set which you can own for free with a qualifying purchase. All other product I used are listed below.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a happy and safe 4th of July!

It's getting hot, time to cool off!

4th of July is just a couple of days away, and the temperatures are rising. So what would be better to take to a picnic than a nice cold bottle of cold water with some drink infuser and a little pack of Twizzlers. You can't go wrong with that.

Bonus Days are here again!!!
Every $50 you spend during the month of July (before shipping and tax), will earn you a $5 Bonus Days Coupon code that can be redeemed in August. Isn't that great! This is the time to get lots of items off your wish list and in August complete the wish list by using the Bonus Day Coupons.

But wait, there is more good news. If you ever considered the idea becoming a Stampin'Up! Demonstrator and get all the benefits which come along with it.  Now is the time!  Between July 1st until August 31st, new demonstrators will receive an additional $30 of product in your Starter Kit. You will pay $99 to sign up and choose $155 worth of Stampin'Up! products in your Starter Kit. And that's not all, Stampin'Up! will also cover the shipping cost for your starter kit.
 Isn't that awesome!

I would love to have you on my team!!!
Let me know if you have any more questions, I'm happy to help!

Thanks for stopping by!
