Copper Angel

I was the door prize winner of our September team meeting, so I had to come up with this month door prize. When I saw the copper foil in the Holiday catalog, this Angel came to mind.  It takes a little time and work but the finished project looks amazing.
I hope the winner will enjoy it as much as I did making it.

Team Challenge

I made this card for our weekly team challenge. Every week we get either a color or a layout challenge.  I like these challenges because not only do I see what other Demonstrators come up with, it also gives us the opportunity to try out different colors or layouts we would otherwise never mix.

This picture was given to us.

And this is what I came up with. It took me a while to figure out, what to put on the tag. But I think it came out pretty good.

Petals & Paisleys

Hello Stampers, today I would like to share with you one of the cards we made in my workshop. This card is really easy to make and it doesn't take much time at all. It's probably faster than a drive to and from the Dollar Store and you save gas money too.

To make this colorful card I used the Petals & Paisleys Suite. You can find all the items you need to make this card and many more HERE!

I hope you enjoyed todays card!

Thanksgiving Table Decoration

When I decorate the table for Thanksgiving, I like to put something on everybody's plate as a little welcome gift. For this year I came up with the idea of a M&M filled Corn. Instead of putting the "Thankful" on it, you could easily put your guest names on the leaves and use them for Name tags.

It is a really easy project. I dampened a sheet of cardstock, crumpled it up into a ball. After I straighten it out, I cut a diagonal section which was about 3"on the bottom. On the top of the sheet I cut strips about 4" long and 3/4 wide all across. Draw the bottom together and stapled it. I used the 2x8 Cellophane Bags fill with autumn colored M&M's. Shape the paper around the bag and tie a ribbon around it just below the strips. Make a tag with the Vintage Leaves and the matching Leaflets Framelits. The sentiment is from the Acorn Thank you. I hope that helps a little. I hope you have a lot of fun making these for your Holiday table.

Team Facebook Hop

Every three month our Team does a Facebook Hop. This time it was themed around the Holiday Catalog, so we could either do Fall/Thanksgiving or Christmas projects.

I decided to do a card and a little box for Thanksgiving.

The box is an origami fold and is actually very easy to make.

It might look like a small box, but it can hold quiet some candy.

Paisleys & Posies

I had to run some errands this morning and while I drove around I noticed how much the trees have changed already. I love this time of the year, it's so colorful. I just wanted to capture these colors, so
I came up with these two cards.

I wanted to play with the Paisleys & Posies Suite for some time.

My absolute favorite is the Copper Foil Sheets and the Paisley Framelits Dies. You can find everything on page 46/47 in the Holiday Catalog or Here in my online store.

Boo to you

I'm not to much in making Halloween cards, but this one I made for my daughter. Since she is not living close by I want to sent her something in the mail and what is better for a college student than a little green ($) to go with the orange.

I love the idea having the characters peeking out from behind the letters.

Small Gift Box

I love giving little gifts to friends and neighbors. So I found this adorable little box and I thought of so many uses.

This one I embellished with the reindeer (ShrinkyDink) from the Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp set.

And I had to make another set of earrings for Christmas. This time it's Santa Clause.

This box I filled with some peppermints, but there are so many different things you could use it
for.

Spooky Jewelry - Treat Holder

A few days ago I introduced you to my newest addiction, Shrinky Dinks. I made some earings and I wanted to come up with a box so I could give them as a gift. I saw this box online, and it looked perfect for what I wanted to use it for.

It is not only a box but also a greeting card.

I used my smallest handheld punch to punch the holes for the earrings. But I thought I wanted to go a little further...

and put some candy inside the box, which I wrapped with the Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I hope you enjoyed todays project, have a wonderful Day!

Octoberfest

It's the time of the year again to celebrate the 5th season in Germany, called the Octoberfest.
My husband and I belong to the Edelweissclub and to help raise some funds I made some adorable little Dirndl and Lederhosen treat holders.

I had so much fun making these little boxes.

And here a picture from us in our Trachten outfits.

And of course, it wouldn't be an Octoberfest without a cold Beer.

Original music was provided by the Edelweiss Band.
It was a great evening full of dancing and meeting new friends, can't wait until next year.
