Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year!

Today's project is a special collaboration between Stampin'Up! and Stampendous. This image pretty much sums it up for the entire year of 2020 and is perfect to close out this year. I will be taking a little break between the Holidays to spend quality time with my Family. I'm looking forward to a lot of Game playing and of course Christmas movies watching.  I hope the same for you!

Just a little reminder, the Year-End Close Out Sale is still going on until January 4th and also check out the Clearance Rack. You never know what you find!

Thinking About Valentine's Day?

Are you tired off making cards and gifts for Christmas and want to start on Valentine's Day? Unfortunately none of the stores have anything related to this day on the shelves. And we have to wait until January 4th until you can order from the new Stampin'Up! Spring Mini Catalog. Unless you are a Demonstrator that is a different story, if you want to find out more about that shoot me an email.

Stampin'Up"! to the rescue. Most of our stamp sets and bundles can be used for multiple seasons. Look at the Warm Hugs Bundle, it pretty much gives you everything you need to get started.

I used the circle stamp with the FOR You and stamped the small little heart in the middle. For my background I used the Meant To Be stamp set and the Stitched Be Mine Dies. Both are available in the annual catalog.

And for my background paper I used the Classic Christmas Designer Series Paper. Who says we can't use red and white grid for Valentine's Day?

By using these products you will be done in no time!

Thanks for stopping by!

WE'RE IN THIS TOGETHER

I just received my order from the upcoming Spring Mini Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Catalog. One of the stamp sets you can get for free with a $50 order is the Heal Your Heart stamp. There was one stamp in the set which particularly caught my eye and that was the We're in this together. What a better time to remind everybody that we can get over this faster if we work together.

What made my project even better is when I remembered the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper that had one design with lots and lots off people on it. It couldn't get any better than that! The mask I punched out with the Story Label punch and added some cord to it to make it look like a mask.
The Heal Your Heart stamp set will be available to you starting January 4th.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Fun And Fast Gift Tag

I'm so happy that I'm finally on the homestretch with Holiday cards, crafts and gifts! The only thing left are some fun decorative gift tags for my packages. For today's project I got a super fun one and I got this done in no time.

I used a piece off Shaded Spruce cardstock which I folded in half.  Then I used the tree from the In The Woods Dies which I lined up so the top just passes the crease line. So when you punch it out, the front and back are still connected and you can open it up to write your message inside.
For my garland and the bow I used Snowflake Splendor Ribbon, I love the sparkles in that ribbon.  I finished my little gift tag off with my all time favorite flower the Poinsettia from the Poinsettias Dies.

Weaved Christmas Ornament

I saw a similar ornament a while ago and I was wondering if I could make one Stampin'Up! style. I was actually planning on making a couple of them, but this was a labor of love. It took me a couple of hours to get all the kinks worked out, so this will be the only one that exists! LOL!  I had no instructions besides a picture in my mind, so I just winged it. When I was done I wasn't too happy with how the tips of the star came out so I added a few trees to it. I think it is a nice finishing touch.

If I remember right, the original ornament was made with ribbon. I made mine with Designer Series Paper and that is not quite as manageable as ribbon. But I think it turned out cute. It adds a nice pop of color to our tree!

Thanks for letting me share my creativity with you!

Festive Place Setting Treat

When it becomes to Christmas I'm more of a traditional color girl. I love my reds and greens with a hint of gold. But there are more and more unconventional colors popping up. I see a lot off pastel colors in stores, which look actually really good. I just don't want to change my entire Christmas decorations. But what is wrong with adding some color to your Christmas Dinner table?

I like decorating a festive Christmas Dinner table and like to add a little something on the plate for later. Well, this year it's going to be a very small table but wanted to also think about Christmases to come.

The first color was Flirty Flamingo and I stamped the Santa Hat always slightly darker. So for that hat I used Rococo Rose.

The next one was Purple Posy and the hat was Gorgeous Grape. I forgot to mention that I stamped the sentiment on return labels, since they are more flexible than cardstock. The little trees on the labels are color coordinated and come from the same stamp set as the sentiment, it's the Little Treat Bundle.

This tree was created with Just Jade and the hat is stamped in the same color. I used the Pine Tree Punch and punched four trees which I scored in half and glued three off them together. I added a toothpick in the middle before I added the last tree panel. The toothpick helps to hold the tree up in the container.

Final color is Seaside Spray for the tree and Misty Moonlight for the hat.

What do you think about my modern version of Christmas table decorations?

What are your favorite colors for the Holidays?

Sweet Christmas Tree Decorations!

This year I wanted to do something a little different for our Christmas tree. In the past I hung some Candy Canes but that got old after a while.  This year I thought why not add some chocolate, and wrapped it in the typical Christmas symbols.

I used the Mini Curvy Keepsake Box on all of them and depending on the shapes I wanted I used either the rounder side or the more elongated side. Santa was my first try and he was fairly easy. The hat is made with the Stitched Triangles.

My second attempt was the Snowman. I used the smallest flower and some greenery from the Poinsettia Dies.  The arms came from the accessories in the Curvy Keepsake Box Bundle.

The Angel, pretty much self explanatory. I have used these wings over and over. They are from the Detailed Dove Dies.

Rudolph the famous Reindeer. I decided not to give any of my characters eyes, just their main feature which made them famous. In this case it's the red nose. I think this would be fun for little kids. You can have them guess who it is.

And the collection wouldn't be complete without a Christmas Tree. For the tree and Rudolf I used the elongated side of the box. The tree is part of the In the Woods dies and the star on top belongs to the Curvy Keepsake Bundle. For the ornaments I used a regular office punch.

I'm so excited, I                     just have to add some twine and they will be going  on my tree!

Check out my blog from Monday, a lot of the dies I used for these projects are on sale until January 4th or until they are sold out.

Thanks for checking out my blog!

Curvy Christmas

There are only three more weeks until Christmas and for the first time I think I know how Santa Clause must feel. I'm bouncing back and forth between my she-shed where I'm sewing and my craft room making cards and little gifts. There is not enough time in a day to get everything done. I'm really behind with my Christmas cards so I better get going.

I love embossing and my favorite colors to emboss for Christmas is Gold on Very Vanilla cardstock. I love this classic look and it looks warm and cozy to me.

It is really hard to capture the gold in the light of my photo booth, so I made a couple of close ups so you can see it better. I also love the flow from the Quite Curvy Bundle.

What are your favorite colors to play with for Christmas!

Thanks for stopping by!

New On My Desk!

Every year for Christmas we bake German Gingerbread which everybody loves. We usually make about five batches so we can give plenty to Friends and Family. Of course it comes with a handmade card and this year I can give them one which looks like Gingerbread as well.

I love this monochromatic look which is Crumb Cake, but then I decided to add a pop off color. I decided to go with Very Vanilla for my trees, which frame my little Gingerbread Houses perfectly.

The background I embossed with the 3D Pinewood Planks Folder, which just compliments that entire look.
It sure feels like being in the woods!
