Rooted In Nature Swing Fold Card

I needed a masculine card for an upcoming birthday.  I cruised around on YouTube and ran into this Swing Fold Card. I wanted to try it, but like always it was really complicated to choose a stamp set, because Stampin'Up! has so many good ones. Wait until you get to see the new catalog!!! Well, since it was for a young gentlemen I decided to go with the Rooted In Nature. You can never go wrong with trees, and especially not with this set. It is absolutely gorgeous!

This card is so much fun, when you pull on both sides the middle actually turns and shows a total different image.

I hope he will like this beautiful card.

I also wanted to let you know,
we've got a bunch of retired items that have been discounted today!
Click on the picture below and it will take you to the Stampin'Up! store where you can see all of them.

Rock'n Trout

I call this project my labor of love. Just because there is a lot of work and a lot of different stamp sets involved. But at the end it is so worth it. I love when I have several stamp sets which go very well together.  In this case I used the Best Catch, Waterfront, Rooted in Nature, and then I used the long die from the Magnolia Memory Dies to created the water.

Below is a short video showing the moving of the trout. I created the movement by adding a pendulum and added a penny for weight. The rocker card with a pendulum  popped up one day on Facebook, and I can not remember where it was.

Do you have any fishermen in your life? Wouldn't this be a neat card to celebrate their Birthday or Father's Day?
Thank you for visiting my blog? If you would like to see more of my creations then make sure to subscribe to my blog or on Facebook and I'm also on Instagram.
I highly appreciate your support.

Thank you!

Two Toned Daisy Delight

This is another one of my favorites ( I know I have to many) which will be carried over into the new annual catalog. I'm so happy about that, and I believe it's not only me.  This daisy can be use for so many different occasions and in so many different colors.

For this thank you card I chose Highland Heather for the background and went a little richer with the Gorgeous Grape for the front. I really love the two toned daisy, what about you?

Are you happy that the Daisy Delight made it into the new catalog? I would love to hear your opinion.

Thanks for checking in!

Tropical Chic Bundle

I'm so happy that the Tropical Chic Bundle will be carried over into the new annual catalog. You can make beautiful project with bright and cheery colors, perfect for these summer birthdays.  For this card I actually created my own stencil with the leaf framelits. I secured the stencil with a little Washi tape. Then I sponged it with Old Olive and after that I went just over the leaf tips with Shaded Spruce.  For the flowers I picked my favorite summer combination, Melon Mambo, Mango Melody and Gorgeous Grape.

I love how this birthday card came together! The colors are so bright and cheery.

Have a wonderful weekend!

2019-2021 New In-Color Display

Right now is a very busy but very exciting time of the year for every Stampin Up! Demonstrator. There are only a couple of weeks left before the new annual catalog goes live.  So, we are busy letting go of the old and making room for the new.  Right now I'm preparing some displays and also gifts to introduce the new 2019-2021 new in-colors to my customers.  But there is so much more to show, and so little time in the day to prepare, LOL!

This is one of my displays I will be showing my customers. This actually turned out so cute I might leave it out for a while.

Always thinking of you

This butterfly die is one of my favorites in our annual catalog and I'm so happy it will continue over into the new catalog. But there is one sad part. The All My Love Designer Series Paper and the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper will not carry over into the new catalog. I really love the Wood Textures paper, it goes with almost everything.

Make sure you stock up on papers you really can't live without before they are gone for good.
Here is a link to check out all the papers.

Pamper Yourself Gift Bag

A couple of days ago I said I have another fun project with the Bubbles & Bubbly stamp set. Well, here we go just in time for Mother's day. I made this tote and filled it with all kinds of goodies a mom could use to relax.

You could also add a gift card for a spa treatment along with a book she loves to read. There are so many things you could put in a bag like this. I think every mother would be thrilled to get a gift bag like this.

Thanks for checking in!

And to all women out there

Bubbles & Bubbly

I always like to give little appreciation gifts to my customers just to say thank you for coming to my classes and also for some inspiration for them. This time I'm handing out these adorable little decorated soap bars. It doesn't have to be always candies, right? This gift is kind of a great way for my ladies to take a break and pamper themselves more often.

The sentiment comes from the Bubbles & Bubbly stamp set, which I will be showing a little bit more of later. I think this set is just perfect for the busy ladies in our lives.

Unfortunately this stamp set will not make it into the new catalog. So if you are interested in purchasing it, you can find it right HERE.

Thank you for checking in!

Paper Pumpkin

I received my Paper Pumpkin for the month of April a couple of weeks ago. But then like normal,  life got really busy around here and I put it on the side like so many times. Today finally I got around to it and I have to say, I LOVE IT!!!

Here are just a few cards I made, and I didn't even follow the instructions which are included in the kit. That is the nice part about Paper Pumpkin, you don't have to be an expert. Everything you need is provided plus a little pamphlet which tells you how to decorate the cards. You can follow it, but don't have to. For the month of April you got everything even a small clear box to create the perfect Mother's Day gift.

Below you can see a short video about the upcoming Paper Pumpkin. I guarantee you it is as much fun as the one from this month.

Make It A Sweet Celebration!

When you think about birthdays don't you also think about candy?  They go so well together, and so does the Sweetest Thing Bundle and the How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper. When you look at the paper down below all the colors look like candy, cupcakes and ice cream. Makes you want to get desert, right?

I decided to go with a cascading shaped card, that gave me three panels to decorate on my card. As you can see in the first picture, I kept the front panel in the same paper. But I left one blank so I can write my greetings on it.

Look at this gorgeous paper, don't you love these bright and cheery colors. Another great thing is the candy jars designs are the same size as the Jar Of Sweets Dies.

Is this paper on your wish list?  Make sure to order it soon because it will be retiring.

Have a relaxing weekend!

Flower Pot Pop-up Die

I know this is not totally Stampin'Up! related, but once in a while I like to try something different. A good friend lent me this Sizzix die to try it out. I was really excited about it, since I love to make pop up cards.

I used all Stampin'Up papers which look so amazing for this project. I had made a Mother's Day card already for my mom, but I might have to send her this one instead.  I'm pretty sure she will love this one.

I hope you liked today's project.

Thanks for stopping by.
