Unicorn Treat

    There is no place you can go without running into these magical creatures, and I have to admit they are really cute. At first I didn't wanted to feed into this Unicorn mania, but then I discovered these colorful candies. They are so bright and colorful and they just magically whispered to me to buy them, so I did. Needless to say, I didn't know what to use them for, besides fill a UNICORN.      

 

 

Well, and here we go this is my version of a Unicorn. Since I bought all this candy I needed a box to put all of it in.

Get Well

    It is the time of the season were it seems that everybody is coming down with the Flu. You can never be prepared for it, but you can make up some cards in advance to cheer the patients up. Give this card along with a bowl of chicken soup, and I bet you they feel better.    

I cut the front of my card in three even sections and put a marker on every flap. The Get Well Soon sentiment and the chicken will keep the flaps closed.

When you start opening the flaps, each will unveil a different sentiment.

I chose bright colors, since I wanted to make a cheery card to make the patient feel better.  Well, I hope it works.

Creature Comfort Clock

    I always tried to find a clock for my craft room but never did succeed. I wanted one which says that I love to craft, and I finally came up with the right one. The good thing about it is, that I can always change it to a different design if I get tired of this one, but I have my doubts that will happen. I love the Creature Comfort Bundle, it is such a cute set.    

 

  Now I have to think about one for my Hubby's man cave. Hmmm...what can I do?     What kind of clock would you like to make?  

Luck Of The Irish

      Welcome back to my weekly blog. I hope you all had a good weekend. Our weekend was very cold, and we had all sorts of weather. Which made it a really good to be inside crafting and staying warm. That gave me some time to make something for a friend of us, he is a Fireman and also plays the Bagpipes. I think this card just suits him well.    

 

I love all the different shades of green which really brings out the Irish in the card.

Peek-A-Boo Bunny

  It's getting busy in Mr. Bunnies carrot patch, time to get those carrots picked. LOL! I wanted to create a box to be able to stick carrots in and make they bunny move behind them. I think it worked out great.  

 

 

I love making three dimensional projects. Can be a challenging sometimes, but so worth it.

Easter Blessings Bundle

    I don't know about you, but this year it feels to me like we are going from one celebration right into the next one. It seems to me I just got finished decorating for Valentines Day and today that got taken out and in with the next one. I need to be thinking about my Easter cards I will be sending to Germany, since they take a couple of weeks to get there.    

    When I saw the Easter Blessings Bundle in the Spring catalog I new I wanted to do a special card with it. I think it works beautifully with the stair step card. I love the look of the stamped images!  Do you still send Easter cards? It feels like they get forgotten with all the Holidays so close together.     The mystery boxes are still available, we are only half way into the month. There are still plenty of golden Unicorns to be found.

Geo Burst

  This is the first time I played with Fun Stampers Journey background dies, and I have to admit I love them. This one is called Geo Burst which can be used for a lot of occasions and different techniques.    

      The little flowers are the Tattered Bloom Minis, which are a real time saver. You can die cut 16 small little flowers all at once, and I do love time saving ideas.  To give the card another focal point I used the big flower from the Blooming Details and finished it off with some ribbon and twinkle trim.

All Ears Bundle and Hop Cuts Die

    Saw these colorful spiral elastics in the store and had to have them.  Back at home I was thinking, why?  Did that ever happened to you?  You see something and have to have it, and then it ends up in the "I will do something with it some day" drawer. But then my Husband always tells me when in doubt leave it out and just look at it for a while, maybe something comes to mind. I can only say he was right!      

      I love working with Shrinky Dink. The All Ears Bundle and the Hop Cuts Die are just the perfect size to use with it.  

 

 
I have a couple of younger kids in my neighborhood, I bet you they will love the Easter bracelets I made for them.  

Carrot Patch

    These are the best carrots yet. They grow all year long, are not labor intense plus no bugs eating them up. I think Mr. Bunny agrees with me! These are little gifts for my customer when they come to my workshops during the month of February.

    Isn't this little Bunny just the cutest? He is really in a hurry to bring his carrot to safety, looks like he will run right off the card. LOL! I just had to improve his looks with a bushy cottontail, suits him so much more.

Pretty Daisy

I love Daisies, they are my favorite flowers. There is something about the fresh color which really draws me in. When I saw the Pretty Daisy stamp set in the Bloom This Way catalog, I new I had to have it and I will have a lot of fun with it.      

  This is a three way stamp set, you stamp each layer in a different color. Start with the lightest color and each layer is a darker shade.  This makes the flower appear three dimensional.  And it can be stamped in so many color combination that you will never run out of ideas and projects.

Storybook Occasions

      I had some time today and was playing around with some new products I received. I love the Storybook Occasions stamp set, it has a lot to offer. For the frame I used the Film Frame Die set, because I had an idea. I wanted to be able to weave the ribbon through the cutouts around the frame.

Spring Is In The Air

     I don't know where you live, but here in Boise Idaho we are having temperature in the 50's. I was walking around my yard the other day and I see the Tulips and Daffodils peaking out of the ground. It is definitely beautiful and I hope it will continue. Unfortunately the Groundhog saw his shadow today, so according to him we might see another six weeks of winter. I so hope he was wrong.    

 
These warm temperatures inspired me to make this lovely card. I love Tulips they are my favorite spring flower.
I added some Journey Glaze on the Water to make it look authentic, but the camera didn't catch it.
