Pocket Full Of Sunshine

Earlier this month I mentioned the new exclusive Sara-inspired Paper Pumpkin kit here to help you share some sunshine. Since I have to wait until June to receive my Paper Pumpkin, I thought I come up with my very own sunshine. This is also a little sneak peak into the new 2020-2021 annual Stampin'Up! catalog. The Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle is so amazing. The Sunflower featured below is big, I was really surprised when I unpacked my pre-order box.

I decided to make a little treat bag with my Sunflower. I stamped  the largest flower twice and colored them with the Stampin Blends in Daffodil Delight. The dies come with a detailed and an outline sunflower. I used the outline die to cut them out.  The strip to make the little treat bag is 2"x6". I scored on both long sides at 1/2".  Cut zigzags on the long side up to the score line, fold on the score line and then adhere the sunflower on both sides. Add a handle if you like.

You can subscribe for the June Paper Pumpkin Kit until June 10th. What makes this one so unique is, that you can reuse the box and fill it with some goodies and send some sunshine!

Honey Bee Table Decorations

I was walking through the store getting my groceries and I saw these honey filled sticks for the 100th time. Every time I saw them I couldn't think of a way to use them, but this time a light bulb turned on in my brain. All of a sudden I thought about the Honey Bee Bundle and why not make a table decoration for a tea party?

So bake some cookies or make little sandwiches and invite your friends over. Well, when you can invite your friends over again.  Decorate your table with these adorable decorated honey sticks. I guarantee your tea party will be the talk of the season. LOL

I'm pretty sure you can come up with a lots of ideas to enhance your table decorations.

Milk Carton With Spout

I was sitting at the breakfast table having some milk and the idea came to mind about a miniature milk carton recycling the plastic spouts off the real milk carton.  Believe me, my entire family was on a milk diet for a couple of days until I had enough of the plastic spouts. I had to use the Over The Moon stamp set one more time before it retired. Because this cow is just too darn cute!

I had to make them in several colors to see how it looks. So here is my Holstein Cow.

I really don't know if the brown ones have a specific name. But I had to make a brown one as well.

Since I'm German by birth, I had to make a purple cow. This is for my German friends or if you have ever been to Germany you might have seen the Milka advertisement on TV.  Everybody knows the Milka Cow in Germany and also know that this is their mascot.

For the background I wanted to create the cow hide look and needed some stamps which could resemble the spots on a cow.  I was digging through all my stamps until I ran into the Love What You Do stamp set which was just perfect for this. This should show you how versatile the stamp sets are. You are only limited by your imagination.

  Have a great weekend!

We Are Cut Out To Be Friends!

Pretty much all day long I was working on casing an art sampler I wanted to do for the longest time. Finally I got the chance to do it!  While I was working on it, this idea of a card came to mind.  Since I had everything out and going, I decided to come up with a matching card.

The Crafting Forever Bundle is a must have for every paper crafter out there. We all have so many friends we can send these kind of cards too and I know for sure they will love them.

But hurry, this set is only available until end of this month or while inventory lasts.

Birthday Jubilee

It's a really sad day, the beautiful "Birthday Jubilee" is on the retired list.  With all that's going on I have not had the time to play with this bundle. I was not able to hold classes for the past few month and this was on the top of my list to show to my customers.

I followed the shape of the flowers and decided to make an oval card. I like how it frames the Happy Birthday sentiment.

But it's not too late, it is still available until the end of this month. You will also still get the 10% off of the bundle

Relax Your Way

I totally loose track of time, it seems like it is just flying by. I can't believe we are already halfway through May.  Not to much longer and we have to think about how to celebrate the Father's in our lives. Not that we only do it on that specific day, but we do a little extra for sure!

Not all men love fishing, hunting or golfing. But for sure every man loves to relax after a busy day! That's why I put my man under a nice shady tree in the sunset.

What about your men in your lives?

Beach Tote

The vacations for this year might be canceled, but not our Summer!  We can still enjoy the sunshine on our back porch and pamper ourselves. I prepared some of these cute little beach totes with the dies from the Dress to Impress Bundle. I added some suntan lotion, body lotion, emery board and nail polish. All the goodies you need for a good pampering.

I decided on Pineapple Punch cardstock for this project because it just reminds me about everything Summer. To give it a stylish finish I added some black accessories.

I will be sending sunshine to some people I know.
I am sure you know someone who would love one from you!

Bubbly Birthday

Do you remember the soap bottles we all played with when we were children?  Oh, how happy we all were! I tried to get those memories on paper.  I started out with using the Layering Circle Dies as a template (no, they don't have to be used as dies only). I used a fine pencil and drew around the dies. I didn't wanted to see any pencil lines after I was done, so I made sure to draw lightly. For the coloring I used the light Stampin'Blends  Mango Melody, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue, Flirty Flamingo and Highland Heather. And lastly, I used the Color Lifter to add some reflection to the bubbles.

I love how this card turned out. I have to play a little bit more with all of our other dies to see what I can create!

Would you like to send some sunshine to somebody in your life? Then sign up for this exclusive Sara-inspired Paper Pumpkin kit. It includes supplies for eight handmade cards and is specially designed to help you create a box full of cheer.

Thank You

I had to get my Ornate Garden Suite out again. I can't stay away from it, because it has all these beautiful images and sentiments. Not to mention the amazing dies. With this bundle you are pretty much covered for all occasions.

With the Stampin' Blends, these two are a perfect match. For my card I stayed in the light color range to achieve a softer look.

Dress To Impress

I'm so happy that the Dress To Impress Bundle will be in the new upcoming 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. I think we all need this bundle in our lives.  Maybe for Mother's day, Graduation or just for the daughters in our lives.

I decided to make these cards chic but not over the top. I sponged the backgrounds with the same color I used for the main images. After I stamped the sentiment I used the Subtle Embossing Folder to give it a finished touch.

I love this embossing folder! It is just perfect for this project. If you don't have it yet, you might want to hurry. It will be retiring soon and only available while supplies last.

Just add a few little rhinestones and you have the perfect look.

Like a mentioned before, the Dress to Impress Bundle will be available in the new catalog. Just remember until May 31st you can get this bundle with a 10% discount.  After June 1st, it is not listed as a bundle anymore and therefore you will not get the discount.
So why wait, get it now!

Painted Poppies with Ornate Floral Embossing Folder

Every month our group has a team challenge with different requirements. This month it's all about the early catalog release the Ornate Garden Suite.  Every piece of this suite is just beautiful! In the card below I used the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder which is part of it. Aren't these little flowers just darling! I decided to step it up and add some color to the embossing folder before I ran it through the machine. This reminds me of some wall paper from back in the days, but it is gorgeous.

I combined the embossing folder with the Painted Poppies stamp set and chose a sentiment from the Well Said stamp set.
I think they are going well together!

Mountain Air Pennant

My daughter loves the Grand Tetons and is very outdoorsy.  So I wanted to make a pennant which kind of shows it and something  that she can hang on her door. The Mountain Air Bundle is my favorite Bundle and I'm so happy it will be carried over into the new catalog. Oops, just told you a secret! I also added some other details from the By The Dock Bundle and the Crane from the Lakeside dies. I always love when you can build a project with several bundles and they all go so well together.

I used the two sentiment from the Sweet Silhouettes dies. It just helped to finish it off!

Some are on the retiring list so get them before they are gone.

If you would like to take a look at the retirement list you can find it HERE!

 Have a wonderful weekend!
