Lucky Me

Ok, not Irish here but don't we all need a little bit of luck in our lives. I consider myself very lucky to have the husband I have. It's his birthday next week and I wanted to make him a handmade card. Since his birthday is in March I thought why not go green?

I love the gingham heart from the Lots Of Heart stamp set and embossed the background with the Pinewood Plank 3D embossing folder. It gives it this country look. For the finishing touches I framed it with one of the Ornate Style Dies. The little hearts you see in the picture are actually the punch outs from the same dies.

I'm so happy I went with the Granny Apple Green, it is such a refreshing Spring time color.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Oh So Ombre

All good things must come to an end. Only five days left to take advantage to receive free product with your order! And who wants to miss out on free items, right?  My projects today are all created with Sale-A-Bration items. The background paper is the beautiful Oh So Ombre 6x6 Designer Series Paper. I'm so in love with this paper! The flowers are from the Corner Bouquet stamp set and the sentiments come from the Heal Your Heart stamp set. These are fast and easy cards which require no layering or fancy technique.

And since I had some scraps left over from making the cards above, I had plenty left over to make the card below. This time I decided to add a little embossing to it by using the Greenery Embossing Folder. The sentiment is also from the Heal Your Heart stamp set, but I split it in pieces and backed them up with the coordinating cardstock. I love how this card turned out.

With an order of $150 (before shipping and handling) you can get both stamps sets and the paper for free.  And you will also receive Hostess Awards. Are you interested? Don't wait to long, time is running out.

Stay creative!

You're Still A Spring Chicken

Every month we have challenges in our group. This helps us to get inspired and if we are lucky enough we can also win a price.  These challenges are always theme related and this month it's all about Chicks & Butterflies. I love our two new stamps sets, the Hey Chick and the Hey Birthday Chick. So I don't think I will have problems coming up with a few ideas.

This time I created a split card. I used Real Red Cardstock and embossed it with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder to give it the look of Barn wood.

I used the All Wired Up background stamp behind the chickens because it goes so well together and it creates a little depths.

Remember these stamps and dies are only available for a limited time. Below I listed all ingredients to create this card.

Also we are on the home stretch of Sale-a-bration which ends February 28, 2021. So you only have a short time left to take advantage of earning free items.

Have a creative day!

Let's Celebrate You!

You don't have to like chicken to fall in love with the just recently released chicken stamp sets. I sure love these cute little chickens. Today's project was a really fast and easy card to celebrate somebody in your life.

For my background I chose the All Wired Up stamp which goes very well with the two chicken stamp sets. To add a little texture I crimped a small piece of Crumb Cake cardstock.
The Hey Chick and the Hey Birthday Chick bundle are only available for a limited time or until they are sold out. So don't wait to long, you might be sorry if you missed them.

Below I will list all items I have used to create this fun and fast project.

Just a small reminder that the Sale-a-bration and the chance to earn free product will be over pretty soon. Cut off is February 28th, so make sure you didn't miss something in the Sale-a-bration brochure.

To qualify for free product you can choose to order from both current catalogs the Annual catalog and the Mini Spring catalog.

March Paper Pumpkin

I'm an outdoors person, so when I saw the pictures featuring the new Paper Pumpkin I got super excited. Adventure awaits inside this month’s majestic, mountain-themed kit. This kit will give you enough elements and embellishments to create eight cards and coordinating envelopes

What makes March's kit even better is the set of four coordinating stencils and a stamping sponge which are a gift to you. Pair the stencils with the rest of the kit's contents and create the most stunning mountain or outdoor themed cards.

Just think about the nature lovers in your life and give it as a gift. The recipient will appreciate the beauty and adventure of March's marvelous kit.

Strawberry Basket

Can you tell I'm so ready for Spring! Unfortunately our weatherman predicted snow for a little while, I really don't need that anymore. But you can always get ready for Spring with our beautiful Stamps and Designer Series Paper. The Spring Mini Catalog and the Sale-a-bration brochure provides everything you need to cheer up these grey days.

This gorgeous sheet of paper is from the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper and that is not the only pretty one in the stack. You can actually get this and a coordinating stamp set for free with a $100 purchase (before shipping and taxes). But remember Sale-a-bration only lasts until February 28th. So get it while you can.

I will list all the ingredients for this project down below.

I found this project online from stampinshout@gmail.com. She created these cute little candy dishes. Since we are getting closer to Easter I thought why not convert it into a basket.

To complete my project I used the Pretty Perennials Bundle to give it that finishing touch. I stamped the little sentiment Just For You on the smallest Balloon Punch out which works perfect to adhere it behind the flower.

Hope you enjoyed today's project.

Art Gallery

I don't think I have to say a whole lot about this card. The Art Gallery Bundle speaks for itself by being amazing! You can stamp these images in any color combination and they will turn out beautifully! Today was my first try and I chose the Bumble Bee for the background and Pumpkin Pie for the second detailed image. Combined with basic white it gives it this fresh spring look.

I also just received the Old World Paper 3D Background embossing folder. I think I just found my new favorite! This embossing folder looks great for any background.

Below you can find all products used to create this project.

I would like to hear from you . What is your favorite product in the new Spring Mini Catalog?

Thanks for visiting my Blog!

You Make My Heart Happy!

Guess what I got in the mail today! I got so excited I had to play with my new chicken stamps right away. It is so much fun when you have the coordinating dies with it. The bigger chicken looks to me like it is dancing. It reminds me about my husband and me dancing in the kitchen when one of our favorite songs come up. So I thought why not two dancing chickens in a cornfield!

I used the sentiment from the Punch Party stamp set which can be your Hostess gift with a qualifying party sale. The background paper is the beautiful Oh SO Ombre Designer Series Paper which is also free with a $50 order (before shipping and handling). I listed all the ingredients to make this card below.

You definitely will be seeing more of these chickens. They are too cute!!!

Have a great weekend!

Hey Chick!

It's February and Stampin'Up! surprised us with not only one but two new Stamp Bundle releases. You all might have seen the absolutely cute Hey Birthday Chick stamp set in the Spring Mini Catalog.

But guess what, they just released the coordinating dies for it. So no more fuzzy cutting, isn't that great!

Look at these amazing cards you can make with this set. Isn't this a fun bundle to play with?

If you didn't have the chance to purchase the stamp set yet, now you can purchase the bundle which will save you 10%.

And since you can't have only a couple of chickens, Stampin'Up! brought back the rest of the family. An all time favorite to coordinate with the Hey Birthday Chick.

Hey Chick is back! Now you will be able to create awesome cards with the entire flock!

And to make it easier for you this also comes with coordinating dies and a lot more.

This set can also be purchased separate or in the bundle with a 10% saving!

Both bundles are only available for a limited time, take advantage before it's too late.

Treat In A Card

I was looking out the window today and it is cloudy, cold and windy.  A perfect day to spend time in my craft room.  It came to me...  a card to brighten somebody's day. I had some Heart shaped chocolates which would add a special look and a treat to enjoy.

The Lots Of Hearts Bundle comes with this cute little gingham heart which gave me the inspiration to go a little bit country on my project. The bundle also comes with this awesome scalloped heart which creates a beautiful frame around the gingham heart.  So I used the beautiful Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper and embossed it with the Pinewood Planks 3D Folder.

Plus you don't have to worry about decorating the inside of your card very much. Just add a greeting and you are pretty much done!

A beautiful project which doesn't take up a lot of time!

Below you find all the ingredients to create this project. The Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper can be yours for free with a $50 order (before shipping and handling)
