Mother's Day Card

      I know I'm a little bit ahead of time for Mother's Day, but my mom lives in Germany so this card will take a little longer to get to her. Besides that, we can never start to early, right! Once this idea came to mind, I had to make one to make sure it works out the way I wanted it to be. I'm very pleased with the outcome!    

       To be able to send this to Germany I can actually wrap the test tube and the flowers in some tissue paper and store it into the bottom of the card. I still have to come up with a box to put everything into but that shouldn't be a problem anymore. I'm just so happy I was able to make this card work.

How Sweet Is This

      I'm taking a little break from all the holidays to catch up on making some very needed birthday gifts and cards.  I love the colors of the How Sweet it is Designer Series Paper, doesn't it scream candy!       I found myself a cone shaped template and traced it onto the Designer Series Paper. St. Patrick's Day

  
I was born and raised in Germany and we never celebrated St. Patrick's Day. When I moved to the United States I experienced the diversity in cultures I enjoyed celebrating all the different holidays.     

 
These cute little treats went to my husbands workplace. Don't they just scream St. Patrick's Day!    These were actually meant for cupcakes, but Pretzels go better with Green Beer!

Easy Masculine Card

     

 As we all know it's not easy to create masculine greeting cards. Usually men don't like all the frilly and flowery stuff we women enjoy. And of course don't let it be cute! LOL!!

     

        So I decided to come up with a very easy note card which can be used for any occasion for the males in our lives. I decided to use the Just a note sentiment because that can be used for anything. Can be a Birthday, Thank You or even a Miss You card, it all depends what you write inside the card.    Have a great evening!       

Let It Ride

      When I found these cute Unicorn chap sticks in a local store, I was reminded about the Let It Ride stamp set from the 2019 Occasions catalog. I love Horses, so I had to have this stamp set!     

      The only problem I faced was, how to make a unicorn out of the horse. I started sketching horns on a sticky note until I found the one I liked and then pasted it on gold paper and fuzzy cut around it. It took a few tries but I love how it came out. I colored the tail and the mane with Wink of Stella in gold and used Wink of Stella in silver for the rest of the body. Naturally a Unicorn has to sparkle, right?
