Christmas Countdown

I know I shouldn't say this out loud, but sometimes I'm really happy that I keep a lot of retired punches and dies, I know I'm a hoarder but you never know when one of these punches or dies are desperately needed. Today was one of those you never know moments!  So please forgive me, but I was so excited making this project.

Isn't it the cutest snowman countdown calendar?  I love how the face turned out.

The mistletoe cluster was created by punching out ovals  I used a 1/2" punch to created the unique look of this leaf.

I'm also very excited to announce that Purple Posy Classic Stampin’ Pads and Purple Posy Classic Stampin’ Ink Refills are available to order.  Click on the picture below which will take you to all the 2019-2021 In-Colors.

Thank you for your patience.

To A Wild Rose

It is pretty seldom that you will find me speechless, but when I stamped this rose for the very first time I had no words describe how good it looks. The stamped image is just gorgeous! You know when you wait and keep on waiting to purchase a stamp set because you are not really sure about it. Well, that was me with this bundle. I had and still have a lot of rose stamps and was debating if I need another one. I'm so happy I did order it.

You can't go wrong with this set, and it looks good in any color. This one is my absolute favorite with the plaid background. I could also see the same card with a Merry Christmas sentiment.  I think it works in a lot of ways, just give it a try!

 Tell me what you think.

Glad you stopped by!

Little Red Truck

I don't know about you, but I have a real rough time making cards and little gifts for men. I think Stampin'Up! must have heard me because they came up with this adorable truck.  This is such a relief, because tell me one man who doesn't like a truck, right?

I like that the stamp set comes with different stamps to put on the truck bed, like balloons, pumpkins and a tree. No matter what, you are covered for a little while. Isn't it the cutest little red truck you have ever seen?

Have a great weekend!

Spooky Mansion

You might have seen a couple of these spooky mansions before, but I would like to introduce you to my version. I found these unfinished cuties at a local Dollar Tree and had to have a few of them.

I painted mine with black acrylic paint and added behind each window one of the characters from the Monsters Bash Designer Series Paper.  I stamped a couple of cobwebs and the black cat from the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set. Of course I had to make it cute by adding the Glittered Organdy Ribbon to it. And for the final touches added some Spider Webbing.

These will be a perfect gift with some candy added for our neighbors.

Thanks for checking out my blog!

Great Card For Beginning Stampers

Today I wanted to try something a little different. This is actually a great stamping beginner card because you only need one stamp set and three different colors of cardstock. It's always good to start out with some basic cardstock so I used Whisper White and Basic Black and kept adding onto with time. For my pumpkins, I used Pumpkin Pie cardstock which is great for Halloween and Thanksgiving. So this card could cover both holidays, just change the sentiment.

I also would like to remind you about this month's promotion. Buy 3 and get 1 free of selected Designer Series Papers. I attached the list down below. If you would like to take a closer look or would like to order just click on the picture below.

Open If You Dare!

The Waterfall Card is alive!
When I saw the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper, I could not stop thinking about the Waterfall Card. This paper is the perfect way to "Frankenstein" your Waterfall Card by fuzzy cutting some of the images and creating a design of your own.

Of course Frankenstein's presence is required.

Also look at this gorgeous Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder. I achieved the look by running a black stamp pad over it after I embossed it. This made it literally look like velvet. I even had to touch it to make sure.

I embossed all the sentiments and the spider in white embossing powder.  And since it is a Halloween card, I wanted to give it a grungy look, so I used a kitchen sponge, inked it in white, and sponged all over the pull panel.

BEWARE!

This was such a fun project to create! It started out as a card and I kept on adding and adding until it got too big to stick in an envelope. So it turned into a decorating idea, which I thought was even better. But then more and more ideas kept on popping up in my head, and finally I had to stop or I would need a bigger frame. All the Halloween sets from the new Holiday Catalog are working so well together you literally can create forever.

I love this Raven! I embossed it on Basic Grey Cardstock with black embossing powder to give it the natural shiny look they have.

I stamped the cobweb on a little piece of Window Sheet so it looks more authentic. The cat tails and grass border is part of the Friendly Silhouettes dies, and the pumpkins and corn came from the Gather Together stamp set.

Altogether this cute project will make a great addition to my Holiday decorations!

Season of Gifting

The time is close when sharing is a big thing, I know it really shouldn't be seasonal. But this time of the year we like to bring something to friends or neighbors, but you don't want to break the bank. Well, I always say it's not what you bring it's about how you present it.

I just sponged the lid with green acrylic paint and added some artificial grass to it.

For the final touches a stamped and punched out a few daisies from the Daisy Lane Bundle.  I love how it turned out. Now the hardest decision is who to gift it too.

Thanks for checking in!
