Caramel Apple Gift

Fall is finally here and it is the time for caramel apples again. Since I'm always looking for little gifts to hand out to family, friends and neighbors this caramel apple kits is just perfect. Not only can that person make a tasty treat, they can also use the decorative terracotta pot for a flower. This is a gift which keeps on giving.

I used the leaf from the Colorful Season Bundle, and stamped it on Lemon Lime Twist, Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze Cardstock. Than I kind of aged the leafs by sponging the same colors on the opposite paper colors.  I crumbled the leafs in my hands to give them the authentic falling leaf look and glued them to the terracotta flower pot.

I filled the pot about halfway up with caramels and topped it with an apple. Isn't this a fun little project to bring back old traditions of making caramel apples.

Now I can't wait to make one for me!

Four-Petal Flower Punch and a Surprise

So my decoration spree for Fall décor continues, this time I bought some cotton bloom stems for underneath my mirror. Doesn't it look pretty.
I LOVE FALL!
But when I took a closer look at the blooms my mind started working overtime.

And all of a sudden the Four-Petal Flower Punch came to mind. A crafters brain never slows done, LOL. Well it took me a couple of tries and a few burned fingers, but I finally got it done.

Here we go, my first self made cotton blooms.

And here you can see the finished project. I couldn't just stop at the cotton, I had to add some other fall foliage. With a little help from my Silhouette, this became a really fun project I'm very proud off.

Below you find some of the product I used to make this gorgeous wreath.

There are some Non-SU items used to finish the wreath, like a pine
cone and a leaf cutting file plus some cotton balls.

Let me know how you like today's project. I love hearing from you!

Fall is here!

I'm finally back and recuperated from our vacation to Germany.  We have traveled a lot and had a wonderful time, but three weeks went by too fast. Coming back home it seemed like we skipped straight into Fall. From temperatures in the 100's now down into the 80's and the Foliage is changing colors. This gave me the idea for my project this week. Found this cute little ceramic truck and decided showing it hauling the fall foliage away. Makes me tired knowing I have to do that pretty soon myself.

This cute little truck will go well with all the rest of my Fall decorations.

I did miss my craft room while I was gone, and I'm so eager to start crafting again.

Thanks for checking back! I missed you too!
