    A gift idea for the dad's in your life. You can fill this little box with a lot of different things. How about putting his favorite beverage in it or maybe the aftershave he loves so much. I'm pretty sure no matter what you put in there, he will love it!    

    The Truly Tailored stamp set with the different sentiments are perfect for projects like this. But get it before it gets to late, it will retire by end of this month.   Have a save memorial weekend!  

High Tide - Father's Day Card

  What is so funny about this card is that I never wanted to order the High Tide stamp set. I'm not a Lighthouse person.  I do like more the outdoor stamp sets like mountains, animals and of course flowers. Well, for my last project I wanted to make a scenery card which included water, and I wanted some water ripples. So guess what, I ordered this set just to get that one stamp.      

  And what can I say, I fell in love with this set.     What are your favorite stamps?

Sneak Peak - Sitting Pretty

Something new, something old (soon to be retired),

something borrowed, something blue.

 

I love when I have stamp sets which coordinate very well together, and I actually can create a scenery card.  

The Sitting Pretty stamp set reminds me about taking my dog for a walk by the river and taking a little break.

Cowboy Birthday

It's no news to me that my husband needs birthday cards without notice. This time he needed a male card which the recipient lives in Texas, so I really had to dig into my retired stamps.   

 

Being as how the recipient was living in the cowboy state, what says it better than some old cowboy boots and a guitar.

Don't drop the Birthday Cake

 

  I'm so excited, for today I would like to give you a little sneak peak into the 2018-2019 Stampin" Up catalog.  This stamp set is so cute. 

      I actually made it into an interactive card, so when you pull on the tap it looks like the cake is going to fall.      

    
    I made this special birthday card for my daughter which is turning 25 in a few days.  I hope she likes her card.    What do you think?        

Waterfront

  The Waterfront stamp set is by far the most versatile stamp set I have ever owned.  I love the watercolor look this set creates. This was my first try with it and I haven't even scratched the surface. I have seen so many cards made with this stamp set, from landscapes to cityscapes and when I think I have seen it all, there is another one.  

  For this time I created an easy country landscape and added some birds from the High Tide stamp set. This is the start of something very beautiful!   What kind of picture would you stamp/paint?   Thanks for stopping by!  

Layering Love

  For this Mother's Day card I wanted to use a little different sentiment, than the usual Happy Mother's Day. This sentiment speaks from the heart and it goes with so many more celebrations. Unfortunately a few items I used for this card are on the retiring list, so if you like them make sure you to check for availability.      

    To create the heart I just used a sponge dauber, inked it up with Wisteria Wonder and used one of the Hearts from the Sweet and Sassy Framelits and colored it in.  All the items I just mentioned are on the retiring list including the Layering Love stamp set.

The first one is the "Just Getting Started Bundle", which gives you the essential items to create a project.    But if you are not happy with just the basics, then you can go to the "A little, more Bundle". This bundle adds a little more texture to your projects, because it's adding some beautiful accessories.
