Bunny Sixlets Treats

I fell in love with this Bunny, and it is really sad to put it to rest. But I couldn't do it before I made one more project with it.

Here is a close up of the Bunny Sixlets Treat holder.

And another one of the back, to show you how it's done.

To get the bigger image of the Bunny, I drew around the outline of the Framelit and fuzzy cut it out. Next I used some decorative paper and used the Framelit like it was intended to, and die cut the bunny. I adhered the decorative paper bunny to the cardstock bunny and made two slits about one inch long and about half inch apart.

I wish all of you and your families a Happy Easter!

Get well soon

The inspiration for this weeks project was really easy. I spend the last week with a cold and thought about get well remedies. What is better than a hot bowl of soup and the warm wishes of a good friend.

It's good to have a variety of resources to come up with a cute project. Don't have the right stamp, just use a label maker.

Hopefully you all are feeling well!

Decorative Easter Hanger

Be a little different this year. Instead of a Easter greeting card, sent some decoration in the mail. This cute little bunny plaque is 31/2"wide and 5" tall, it fits perfectly in an invitation envelope.

I cut a piece of chipboard to the desired size and covered it with some decorative paper. I sanded the overlapping edges down to give it a nice finish. Put a little flower, bunny and some greeting on it and finished it off with some ribbon to hang it with. There is plenty of room on the back to write your greetings. I'm pretty sure that is a keeper.

Thanks for checking out my blog!

Spring Topiary

I had this open spot on my entry banister and I tried to find something to fill it in with. Of course I could go out and buy something, but what's the fun in that. Making it by yourself is so much more rewarding.  I remembered I had some Styrofoam eggs I bought a long time ago (I'm so happy I keep all my leftovers) and I thought about making a Topiary with them. Unfortunately I only had two eggs left, so I had to get more. Now I have three more to store.  Oh well, what are they turning into next year...LOL.  I just hope I remember.

This was kind of a labor of love, there was a lot of die cutting and shaping involved in this project. But I love how it came out.

Do you find items in your craft room after a clean up, and find a use for them? Let me know what you are making or made with the long lost treasures.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Lollipop Bunnies

I had so much fun making these adorable little Bunnies. They will be hiding out in my customers delivery bags this week.  Since it's so close to the Easter holidays I thought I come up with something a little different.

What do you think about them?

Always love to hear from you!

Bunny Brigade

All these holidays being so close together this year doesn't give us crafters a breather at all. Just got done for St. Patrick's day and now it is straight towards Easter. I love to celebrate all these different holidays and make little goodies for neighbors, colleges and friends. For this years office gifts I decided to make them these little Bunny treats. Just need about thirty more of this cuteness, so I better get going.

I hope you got all your Easter baskets and surprises done. Let me know what you are working on.

Thanks for stopping by.

Easter Basket

I'm  so sorry I haven't posted in a very long time, it feels to me like forever. I really had to do some soul searching about the direction of my creativity. Believe me, that is not an easy task to do.  There are so many good things out there and of course you want them all, but unfortunately if you want to be associated with a company you have to make a decision. So for now, you will  not see anything based on any specific company.

I will be however creating projects and sharing them with you.

For today, I would like to show you this cute little Easter basket I made for my daughter. She might be in college and a young adult, but she still loves her handmade gifts.

I will look forward hearing from you.
