Heart Box

I often get ask during my workshops where I get my ideas from. Last Christmas we received a rather large cookie box from friends as a gift. Since it was Christmas it had punched out snowflakes in it, and I kept on thinking how hard it would be to come up with something for Valentine' Day and of course in a different scale.  And below is the finished product.

I was kind of undecided about stamping on the box or decorating it up a little bit more. But then I thought I liked it just they way it was why would I want to get carried away with it. I love how the Calypso Coral cardstock peeks through the hearts.

So next time you go to the store or receive a different kind of packaged gift, don't throw it away. Use it for inspiration.

Purse Bling

Purse Bling became very trendy over the last few month. No matter what purse you buy or which store you go to you can find them in all shapes, materials and sizes. Well, today I would like to introduce you to the Stampin'Up! style purse bling. This one is quiet affordable and on top of it a lot of fun to create. For those who follow my blog or come to my workshops know I love to play with different materials and Shrinky Dink is one of my favorites. I have made my own embellishments and created all sorts of Jewelry already by just using Stampin'Up! stamps and dies.

I played with the Tea Together stamp set, Tea Time framelits and the Coffee Cafe' stamp set. These three go so well together.

I stamped the images with black Stazon and colored them in with the Stampin Blends.

Here are a couple more closeups.

Isn't this the cutest little charm you can think off. I love the phrase from the Coffee Cafe' stamp set, which could not have been any better.

Interested in making some? I have listed all Stampin'Up! items used for this project down below for your convenience. The Shrinky Dink is available in all local stores or online. There are several different types of Shrinky Dink, make sure you get the Ruff N' Ready, that is my personal favorite.

The Tea Time Framelits Dies are part of the Sale-A-Bration Brochure and are free with a $100 purchase (before tax and shipping).

Butterfly Beauty

I love these Butterflies!  They are so much fun to play around with. One of the thinlits is a large one which has five different sized butterflies connected together. This one was perfect for what I had in mind. I used a couple sheets of cardstock in pastel colors since my project is suppose to be something decorative for the spring season.  After I die cut all the butterflies, I cut them apart one by one because who said we have to use it as it is.

For my project I used to different sized embroidery hoops and just kept on decorating them. I might suggest to have somebody helping you assembling it, because four hands are better than two holding everything in place.

Leave a comment if you like today's project. I would love to hear from you

Butterfly Gala

My new years resolution was to try a little harder to be prepared for upcoming celebrations. Today I was busy making a few birthday gifts ahead of time for my husband to give to his co-workers. I love the bright and cheery colors of the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper.

The Butterfly Gala stamp set makes this gift just perfect for Spring birthdays. The stamp set and the matching punch are available in the 2019 Occasions Catalog. Check out the catalog down below and remember for every $50 or $100 you spend you get to choose an item from the Sale-A-Brations catalog.

Tea Together Bundle

For today's project I chose the Tea Together stamp set and the Tea Time framelits.  Usually this is not my kind of tea (LOL), but I fell in love with this gorgeous coffee/tea pot and the cup. The stamp set is featured in the 2019 Occasions Catalog and if you spend $100 you can have the matching framelits for free. You can find them in the Sale-A-Bration brochure.

My friend and I are coffee lovers, I'm pretty sure she will love this coffee pot as much as I do.

Climbing Roses

I love when I make cards and they can be used for pretty much any occasions. The Climbing Roses Bundle has so many good sentiments which qualify for cards like that. It never hurts to have a little stash prepared so you don't get caught short.

Butterfly Gala

Today was a happy day! I received my order from Stampin up with all the goodies from the Occasions Catalog and of course all the free items from the Sale-A-Brations Catalog.
Everything was put aside and I immediately went to my craft room and that's where I pretty much stayed all day long.  Please don't judge me. LOL!!!

I was waiting for these Butterflies, for what seemed to me to be a long time. But the wait was worth it! The Grapefruit Grove & Lovely Lipstick  Foil Sheets they look even better in person than in the catalog. Well, I could go on and on with all the stuff I received today, but I think you should check out the catalogs and get some exciting things for yourself.

Thank you for stopping by, have a nice weekend!

You can get this cute little stamp set for free with a purchase of $50 (before shipping and tax). If you don't know how, feel free to contact me.
