Floral Essence

Do you love flower stamps like I do? Then look no further! I can never have enough flower stamps and when they include a punch, well than it's a must have. I love the large flower image from this stamp set, which makes it possible to fill in a large piece of cardstock in no time.  Perfect to create your own background paper.

This stamp set is perfect if you need a card in an instant. I sponged my background flower in Calypso Coral and embossed it with the Subtle Embossing Folder.  I stamped a couple flower petals on the same color cardstock and punched it out with the coordinating punch.

  Have a great weekend!

Sea Of Textures Magic Rain Card

I have been seeing this card called "Magic Rain" and really wanted to give it a try. I browsed the catalog for the right stamp set I could use to get it done. When I ran into an oldie but goodie, the Sea Of Textures Bundle I knew it was it.  I thought about this underwater scene with bubbles going up to the surface. Well, you can see the final product below.

Let me know what you think?

For the magic rain card you are suppose to fill up the entire card front with strings off beads, but I didn't wanted to cover up the octopus. So I just did a couple of bead strands behind the plants, I think it looks good.

Also today for the first time ever, Stampin'Up! put stamp sets on the Clearance Rack! This is not something they have done in the past—and they don’t know if they will do again—but I want to make sure you’re aware so you can check it out HERE!

And more good news! Stampin'Up has received a shipment of Stampin’ Trimmer Cutting Blades , and this item will become available on June 27, at 10:00 AM (Mountain Time). So if you are in need of some more, make sure you are online and click HERE!
In the Find Product Box enter item # 126995, there is a limit you can order, but they have not released what that limit is.

Thank you for stopping by, have a great evening!

Free As A Bird

These birds caught my eye the very first time I was able to take a peek at the new catalog. And I new right away this set would be used more then a couple of times. You can color the images in multiple different colors and I guarantee you, your card will always look different. Just think about all the different birds there are in nature!

This bundle also comes with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies. As the name already says, the dies finish off with these cool stitched border.

For my card I used the Petal Pink Cardstock and combined two of the Designer Series Papers. The dotted one comes from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper and the other one from the Magnolia Lane Suite.

The shadow around the birds were created by using the light Petal Pink Stampin' Blend. I really like how that came out.

Thank you for stopping by!

Believe You Can

When you get your very first order delivered from the new catalog and everything is brand new to you and also getting used to new stamps,  new colors and how everything goes together. This project was the very first one I made with products from the 2018-2019 annual catalog. I was playing with new papers and with one of the hostess stamp sets called, Believe You Can. I like this stamp set because it has some inspiring sentiments and also for me the much needed Thank You.

The wonderful thing about this stamp set, it can be yours for free with a qualifying order.  Check out the complete stamp set below.

I'm finally back!!!

I'm finally back!!! I know I promised to try and keep you updated with our travels, but believe me that wasn't an easy task. Either we didn't have a very good connection or we were just so exhausted after a fun day of exploring that we just fell into bed. Now I'm back, so let's get back in the saddle!
For today I wanted to introduce you to a stamp set which at first was not on my need to have list, but that changed fast after I have seen my co-demonstrators using it. Then it was a I have to have it, LOL. It is called New Wonders and it features these cute little ferries.  I loved coloring the images and I can decorate the envelope too.

But before I say goodbye for today, I would like to show you a couple of highlights from our trip.

This was our first adventure into an actual Silver Mine.  They turned they lights out inside and believe me you have no idea how dark that can really be. I could not work in a place like that.

Here I'm displaying the German flag on top of Columbia Ice Field Glacier. This was quiet an experience, one that I will never forget.

While on our way to the observation platform we ran into lots of Mountain Goats. It was amazing to watch them walk literally on a side of a mountain, as easily as you and I walk on flat ground.

This Black Bear was really up the tree, but he was actually up there building a place to sleep. This was literately right next to the road.

And know I have proof positive that I am the Center Of The Universe!!! LOL

I literally have over five thousand pictures from this trip on my camera, but I wanted to give you a little idea. This was a trip of a lifetime and I will be looking back on this trip for many years to come.
Thank you for following me!!
