Greetings from Idaho

I was not born and raised in Idaho, but I do love to live here and I'm proud of it. I show it in a lot of different things, I have hats, t-shirts, you name it I have it. So when I saw a card posted by "Seid kreativ mit Tanja" which she made for her Alaska Incentive trip, I had to make one with Idaho on it. There is a lot Idaho is famous for, but I wanted to stay with what I love the most here and that's the Mountains and the Ponderosa Pines.

Wouldn't it be fun to make it for all the States?

Besides loving to live in Idaho, I still miss my home in Germany. I am so looking forward to going home on vacation in a couple of days. That's the reason this is my last blog entry until I return from vacation. I will be sure to share some of my experiences in Germany when I return.

Until then I hope you have fun creating beautiful projects.

Auf Wiedersehen!

Beautiful Promenade

I love clean and crisp cards, and this is definitely one of them. I created my own background paper by using one of the flower stamps from the set. I think it turned out lovely.

The colors Calypso Coral and Whisper White go so well together!

 Don't you agree?

Have a fantastic weekend!

Back to School

I looked on the calendar a couple of days ago and couldn't believe it's mid August already and it's almost back to school time. I have seen all the school supplies popping up in the stores but I didn't pay any attention on what day of the month it actually is. I wanted to make gifts for my friend's twins which will be Freshmen this year.

I came up with these Mini Notebooks, because every Freshmen can use something like this to keep important notes in. I simply recycled the cardboard which comes with our 12x12 paper and just decorated it with some school supplies stamps. For the inside I choose plain notecards, because they are thicker and hold up better.
I hope they will enjoy their little Back to School gift.

I hope you liked todays post.

Cake Soiree

I needed a wedding card for a dear customer of mine and her theme is going to be Tea Party and in the soft yellow colors. What goes better than a wedding cake for this kind of wedding theme. I kept the colors in So Saffron and embossed it with Bronze Embossing Powder and used some Copper Foil Sheets for the die cuts.

For the background I used the Tufted Embossing Folder which gives the card an elegant touch. Finished it off by adding some pearl elements and Mini Sequin Trim.

This is the perfect marriage in style and color.

Thanks for checking in.

Pull Out Card with Gift

I had to get the Healing Hugs stamp set out one more time to make this gorgeous Thank You gift. I can't get enough from these distinctive stamps, which look like the real thing. Now the only thing we still need is, to add some fragrance to it. Wouldn't that make it even more perfect.

Here is the open card, which pulls out from the right side and the message slides out to the left. Isn't that fun!

Bouque Blooms Box

I'm having way to much fun with the Bouquet Blooms Bundle. I saw this box online, unfortunately I don't remember who to give credit to. This box is so cute, I really wanted to make one. I love when I can use Framelits and convert them into something completely different. After all when we invest in all our crafts we don't want to use them only for what they were meant to be. LOL.

Take a piece of cardstock 5 11/16" x 9 1/2"
Score on both short sides at 3/4"
Score on the long side at 1 2/8", 1 7/8", 5 13/16" and 6 12/16".
Cut as shown in the picture below, and die cut on both of the short sides.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for stopping by.
