New On My Desk!

The weather around here is getting cooler and everything around here is pointing towards fall. This was a sign for me to change the decoration in the house. But when I open the boxes and look at my old decorations they just don't work for me sometimes. That's when I'm really happy that I have lots of craft items and beautiful stamps to make my own.

With a new month also comes a new promotion! Finally tomorrow September 1st the new Standard Stampin'Cut & Emboss will be available.

So you would like to know what sets our machine apart from the rest. Well here are some of our favorite features.

The solid steel construction frame and rubber feet that securely grip the work surface produce crisp, clean, precise cutting and beautifully detailed embossing.

The machines and tools are designed for an intuitive die-cutting and embossing experience. For example all plates are labeled with a number and are color coded for easy reference and use when building your sandwich. And just like the name suggests, our Magnetic Cutting Plates have fully-magnetic surfaces to make it easy to securely position your dies and keep them in place.

The platforms on both machines fold for space-saving storage and they look pretty too-the sleek, clean design suits any crafting space.

You can use both machines at home or on the go with their folding platforms and ergonomic carrying handles. It is convenient for you who like to attend crops or other crafting get-together's.

Also starting tomorrow, if you sign up you get the Get & Go Starter Kit promotion. Add the Standard Stampin'Cut & Emboss Machine (or any items of your choice to a $99 starter kit and save $26)

You will also receive enough card stock pieces to make 16 cards, a pack of Rhinestone Jewels, the So Much Love stamp set, and the Queen Anne's Lace stamp set!

Well and if that is not enough, how does a discount on your orders sound?
Well not included are all the new friendships you will be making!

Think about it!

New On My Desk!

Sorry I have been MIA for a couple off weeks. Nothing serious, just life got extremely busy and I had to get things done. But I'm back and have to show you some totally awesome stuff.

While I was busy I also had plenty off time to think about new techniques I could try. So I used the Blossoms In Bloom stamp set and stamped it with each of the new in-colors. Aren't they just gorgeous, I love them all! Then I used the Basic Black Stampin'Write Marker and doodled around every petal. You will see it better in the close ups.

Oh by the way, the other thing I wanted to show you is this totally awesome metal Card Display. I was waiting for something like this for the longest time. You will be able to display your own creativity or use it to display all the cards you receive. Either way it is really decorative!

You can find the Card Display right HERE!

Here are the close ups from my cards. This one is stamped in Cinnamon Cider.

I couldn't just only make one. All these in-colors are so beautiful! This one is Magenta Madness.

This one is Misty Moonlight. I changed the placement of the sentiment on each card. I thought it would be a nice twist.

The very pretty Bumblebee.  For the background I matched the paper from the in-color 6"x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortment. It is so easy creating with Stampin'Up! because everything works together beautifully!

And finally Just Jade. The nice part about all these cards, I only used one stamp set!

The doodling around the flowers gives the entire image a lot more depth. And don't be nervous, you can't mess up!

Below you find all the ingredients to create these cards.

See what's new on my desk!

Looking out my Kitchen window this morning and noticed that some of the trees in my neighbors backyard are already turning colors. In my opinion kinda early, I'm not ready for cooler temperatures. I'm enjoying my Summer to the limits and hope it will last a while longer. But Fall is coming and we might want to get prepared for it. So my neighbors backyard was the inspiration for my card today.

The Stampin'UP! colors actual match the nature colors very well. I might not like the cooler temperatures which are coming with Fall, but I do love all the warm colors which will be around.

The Life Is Beautiful stamp set is available now in the new Fall/Winter Minicatalog. As you can see in the picture below it has something for every season.

I Don't Want To Be An Adult

My order was delivered yesterday, and off course I had to play with my new goodies right away. My first choice was the Nothing Better Than Bundle, this is such a fun set to play with. My daughter gave me the inspiration for this card. I don't know how many times I hear her say, I don't want to adult today it's to hard. It can sure be stressful at times, so cookies are a really good idea.

Look at all the fun images and sentiments.
There is something for everybody in this stamp set.

Many Layered Blossoms Gift Box

I can't tell you how much I love having a little stack off gift boxes handy. I needed a fast gift today and our Acetate Gift Boxes came to the rescue. I decorated the outside of the box with the Many Layered Blossom Dies, which fills pretty much of the entire front.  I really love that! I layered the inside of the box with some vellum, just because the candy I used is pretty colorful and I didn't wanted to take away from the beautiful front. Added a few rhinestones which I colored with the Stampin Blend Cherry Cobbler to make them match.

Altogether I was able to get this completed in about 10 min. I think the planing took me longer then decorating the box.
I'm pretty sure my recipient will love it, what do you think?
