      Making greeting cards doesn't have to be expensive. It all depends on your budget and how deep you want to be invested into a new hobby. For instance for the card below you only need two different colors of cardstock and one pack of the "From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper". The packs of paper will last you for quiet some time. Then get yourself a stamp set (I would recommend something seasonal)  and a basic black stamp pad because that goes with everything and you are ready to go.
