Get well soon

I needed a Get Well card and since illness is sad enough I thought I put a little humor into it. Also it's pretty close to Halloween that's why this witch came to mind.

Mostly everything I used is Fun Stampers Journey product. But in matter to finish it off I had to come up with a couple of items myself. The Get Well Soon phrase I printed on my label maker. I really have to invest in a Get Well stamp set from Fun Stampers Journey, you never know when you need one.

Have a great evening, and don't feel bashful to leave me a comment!

A Ghoullish Book

More and more people are getting away from giving candy out during Halloween for various reasons. So I came up with something still spooky but useful and safe.
Not only does it fit the season but also provides them with a place to write down their thoughts.

This is a Composition Note Book dressed up with Tissue Paper, Black Acrylic Paint and of course my favorite Fun Stampers Journey product, Pan Pastels. I'm sure your Ghouls and Goblins will love it!

Have a great weekend!

The Great Pumkin...

This project is a collaboration of three stamp sets, which is not my favorite thing to do, but I had this idea in my head and I had to do it. I have to admit it came out beautifully and was easy to make on top of it.

You can't see it very good on the photo but I put Journey Glaze all over the Pick up to make it look authentic. I even cut the windows out. I purposely left out the sentiment because I don't know what I'm going to use it for.

Let me know in the comment section, down below, how you like todays project.

Eye See You

I just received my Fun Stampers Journey order with more fun Halloween stamp sets and dies. I don't know why I love Halloween so much, maybe because back when I was a child in Germany we never celebrated this day. Which of course has changed and has become very popular over the years.

For this project I stamped the Eye See You background stamp on a 5 1/4" x 4 1/8" white piece of paper. I made myself a template with a piece of transparency and marked which eyes I wanted to cut out. Than I placed my transparency on the white paper and used a 1" and 1/2" to punch the holes. I glued the white paper on top of the background stamped paper and added the Boo in the middle. The two eyeballs behind the "0's" I cut them out by hand and just glued them behind. To give it a little more depth I added some Journey Silver Silk.

Hallows Eve

I usually don't make to many Halloween Cards because who is giving or sending them out. Still is a lot of fun to come up with different ideas for the holiday.

I just received the rest of my Pan Pastels from Fun Stampers Journey and I couldn't wait to use them. The variety of colors enabled me to come up with the right look.

I love all the little characters from the stamp set Hallows Eve, they can be used for so many fun projects.

Have a great weekend!!

Fun Stampers Journey Mix Media

This month Fun Stampers Journey is having a huge promotion on their mix media products, which I mentioned in an earlier post.  So for today I decided to get out the Gel Press and played around a little bit. It's so much fun, and the possibilities are endless. No matter what you do, it will never look the same.

You can use stamps, stencils and even ordinary things you use on a daily base.  For my background I decided to use some bubble wrap and made a stencil with our Spider Web die.  I used black Pan Pastel to fill it in.

I hope you enjoy today's project.

Thanks for stopping by.

Woohoo...it's getting spooky!

My favorite crafting season is here! Don't get me wrong I love Summer but I really get into the crafting spirit when Fall comes around. I guess it's because of all the Holidays which are coming up. This is my version of a spooky Owl, actually it looks to cute to be spooky, but we don't want to scare the little kids to much, right!

This is an oldy but goody, 2-4-6-8 Box transformed into an owl. Take a piece of paper 8 1/2" x 6" and score on the long side 2", 4", 6" and 8" and on the short side at 2". Cut on all the 2" scores and  put the box together. For the Face I used a 2"x2" square folded it in half and to keep it closed I added a little Velcro dot.   The eyes are 1 1/4" and 1" circles and the feathers are 1" circles too. To give the front of the owl a little more texture I layered the 1" circles and sponged the edges with the Butter Cream Stamp Pad.

 Hope you like today's project!
