Hello Fall

    I had to play with our Pan Pastels again, it is so addicting! This time I wet embossed  leaves on white paper and used the Citrus Cooler Pan Pastels and just rubbed it over the entire paper. I love that the embossing turned it into this two tone effect.    

     A little Dark Roast Silk to give it the splatter look. And finished the card of with our gorgeous Hello Fall stamp set. You can check out all the ingredients below.

I'm so excited! This is the very first time I actually worked with Fun Stampers Journey Pan Pastels, and I'm loving it. I finished the card below in no time at all. With very little effort I created an amazing card.

Surprise, Surprise

      Yesterday felt like Christmas in my house, and I'm pretty sure our UPS Person was not to happy carrying 40 lbs packages around.      

 

 

My workstation was not big enough to hold the entire order.

 

 

 

Can you ever have enough paper, not me! Look at all this gorgeous colors. I better get busy and put all this goodness to use! LOL!!!

    Today I'm starting a new chapter in my life, I'm officially a Fun Stampers Journey Coach. I'm looking forward showing you all the fun stuff from their catalog and believe me there is a lot to show. This will be a new learning curve for me as well, since I was with the former company for a long time. But change keeps us young, right! LOL

Western Idaho Fair

      Well, you might have missed me Friday.  We took the evening off and went to see Trace Adkins at our Western Idaho Fair.  We enjoyed the weather, the music and of course the fair food. I was anxious to show you with what I came home with!

Last minute Birthday gift

  I looked on my calendar this morning and OMG I had a Birthday that very same day, and of course had nothing prepared. Does that happen to you too?  Since I'm currently without a company I work with, I have not invested in a lot of craft items so I had to get a little inventive.  I started out with white paper (everybody has white cardstock) and picked a stamp set which I thought would make a pretty background.  Picked different colored stamp pads and voila I got a gift.       I cut my paper 8 x 8 1/4 and scored on the longer side at 1/4", 2 1/4", 4 1/4", 6 1/4" and again at 3 1/4" and 7 1/4 but these two only 1 1/2" long.   The nice part about this box you can prepare some ahead of time and fold them flat.   To learn how to make this or other fun projects contact me to sign up for one of my workshops.     Thanks for stopping by!  

Orchid

      I love Orchids, they are the most beautiful but also the most mysterious flower to me.  Mysteries, because I have never succeeded in keeping one longer than a couple of month.  I have tried many things and talked to a lot of people, but it never worked. So here is my solution to the problem, I made one out of paper. This one will be around for a very long time!    

 

 

From the distance you could almost say it looks real. The close up tells you different, but it's the craftsmanship which counts because everybody can go to a store and buy one. Try making one yourself!
